I'm pretty disappointed about not being able to go. I mean, I know China kind makes up for it, but there are a couple Fairfield friends I was really looking forward to seeing that I met at their competition last year.

But I know Mads will do great and represent Burroughs fabulously, like we did when I was in Mads last year.

I really think that anyone who was traveling to this competition to catch Powerhouse should still make the trip to see Fairfield. I'm hearing their show is pretty fierce this year with a super great group of kids. Plus- La Crosse is better than heaven.

We were informed that Powerhouse has an amazing opportunity to perform in China this year so they will not be making the trip to the Grand River National Show Choir Invitational this season. We are fortunate to still have Soundsations grace us with their presents. We hope Powerhouse has a great trip overseas and we hope to see them next year!
If any group is looking for a competition on March 18th and 19th we still have some openings. Please feel free to look us up at grandriversingers.com or you can e-mail Rob at [email protected] with any questions you may have!
See you in three months!!

This is probably one of the most depressing things I've read about today (I didn't pick up the newspaper)... those lucky Chinese.

I only wish they'd get the chance to compete against each other this year!

Are one of the schools not going to Grand River?

Haha I'm sure Burroughs and Fairfield will both be great. This will be interesting to see the outcome!
