I've always liked Papillion since they did Carmen Sandiego. Now, I was a Sophomore back then so I don't even know how good of a song/show that actually was... but I'm still rooting for them! And I'm also rooting for my host school... um... oh man. This isn't a good day for me.
Well it's not fair for me to judge their singing, because I was in the front row of the audience packed into the auditorium. So I honestly couldn't tell you much about their singing.
I also have a question. Does anyone know where else Lincoln SW is going this year? Because I absolutely LOVED their show
I felt that they were very good, and very well polished. Maybe that was because I was sitting in the front row, but it looked great. The choreography I felt was very clean, not difficult, but clean. Plus you should never rule any group out.
I would agree to not rule them out, I just hadn't seen seen a lot out of them for them to be considered that high, but you never know. I guess I'll see on Saturday. One question, how was their singing? Our competition is pretty singing heavy and the judges usually tend to reward singing over dancing.

What can you tell us about Gretna's show? They have been steadily getting better but I was a little surprised to see them that high--not ruling it out, just surprised.

Lol, its seriously a big deal, and we get super pumped about it. If you guys don't already do that, I suggest you do--it makes decorating SO much more enjoyable. Playing loud music in the hallways while working also makes it 10 times more fun, lol.
Hey this is Michael, I'm one of Totinos other hosts at the COE this year.
I'm not sure if we have an official competition to see which room hosts can decorate the coolest room, but last year we definitely won the unofficial award. We try to go all out for our rooms so I hope you'll enjoy what we do with your 3 rooms this year. We already have some sweet ideas.
I forgot to mention that I'm super pumped for this competition. I thought that ATSC show was awesome.
