Honestly, Omaha is going to sweep this. Their opener is a bit awkward, but they're clean and have great vocals.
Davenport West hasn't been out there yet, but I think they'll do well here. Though honestly, I could see GINW or GISH place up at 1RU. GINW and GISH are both very good this year. GINW has gotten the nod so far, but I could see GISH overtake them given a lights out performance. Norris could probably finish above them, too. They had a great outing earlier this year. Fifth Runner Up honestly is a toss up, but I give it to Westside girls because of how good they looked Saturday in exhibition.
Sadly (I say sadly because I've always felt a rivalry between Resonance and ATSC), I think ATSC takes everything from this one. No one from Nebraska has consistently given Westside a run for their money and I think they are going to be a bit better than Davenport.
Agreed. It seems like Southwest and Grand Island Northwest are the only two groups who have come close. It is true though that Davenport West beat GINW last year at this competition so who knows? Still gonna bet on Westside taking it.

This is Omaha Westside we are talking about. The only group they lose to in Nebraska is Ankeny. Davenport West did do really well here last year, and Iowa groups tend to score very well in Nebraska (especially vocally). The only group I've seen this year is Omaha Westside, and while it's definitely not the most exciting show, it should sweep here. Norris will probably surprise a lot of groups here. Omaha Westside girls are normally really good and could definitely challenge for finals, even though they are super early (that could actually help them). It will be a fun competition, for sure.
im expecting a battle between west and ATSC.. slight bias but i think west could be better than ever this year. after seeing them at thanksgiving i can tell its gonna be a phenomenal year. i think west could take choreography but vocals are gonna be tight. id say ATSC is gonna take combo.
as far as predictions.. after seeing ATSC this week and hearing about wests dinner theater i think itll go something like this.. but again its a predominately blind prediction.

Honestly i find this a good competition. Predicitons will be hard as well. I know ATSC has had experience in this year already but Connection hasnt yet. So just know we are gonna get it our all. Just Watch Out!
