Lol I have the same reaction as Dylan. Max, are you trolling? Predicting your own group as GC at a Nationals comp and not respecting North Central as even a finalist seems a bit off.
GC: Westside "Amazing Technicolor Show Choir"
1RU: North Central "Counterpoints"
2RU: Fairfield "Choraliers"
3RU: Findlay "First Edition" / Daniel Hand "VIBE"
4RU: Daniel Hand "VIBE" / Findlay "First Edition"
5RU: Homewood "The Network" / Cedar Rapids Kennedy "Happiness, Inc."
GC: Westside (BV/BC)
1RU: Noblesville
2RU: Fairfield
3RU: North Central
4RU: Cedar Rapids Washington
5RU: Findlay
Such a hard competition to pedict. I think Noblesville is going to do very well here, considering how they bested Whiteland earlier this season, and we all know that Whiteland is DOMINATING this year! I honestly think Findlay is a real wildcard here because the nature of their show can either be loved or loathed. I’m not a personal fan of their show, but they do have incredible vocals and clean choreo, so we’ll have to wait and see. Again, this is incredibly hard to predict! Opinions will probably change as the season progresses.
Agree, agree on the Noblesville. And WHITELAND- soprano crush of the year. They are killing it. ATSC could very well get GC! Which will be hilarious because the Ohio kids have no idea who they are. They will come in very well trained, clean, and sing their pants off. I do not care for Findlays show either, but I think they will finish above CR Washington.
Daniel Hand still doesn’t know if we are coming. This huge storm is causing flight cancellations and travel bans on roads to get to the airport. We will know by Thursday morning :-(
Preliminary awards are announced Friday after the second chunk of Mixed groups perform. This includes Finalists that will perform Saturday as well and since awards are not held each day for groups performing on those respective days we choose to list them all on one page (not to mention no groups have overlapping performance times on different days for prelims making it even easier for us to list on here all together.)
