So this winter storm hasn't really affected the Fort Wayne area too badly, but I just drove up from Muncie and it was getting pretty bad down there.
Anyone know if Mooresville or Franklin Central will be affected by this? Most the other groups are pretty close by, so that shouldn't really be a problem.
And is Ravenswood really coming from West Virginia?!? I feel for the kids on that bus...
You bring up a great point... I mean, if FC and Mooresville can't be here...
It makes the competition a whole lot easier for us! :D
Haha, I'm kidding. I really hope everyone makes it to Ft. Wayne alright!!!
one more day!
i know that all the luers kids are so excited to compete against the area schools!
and this will also be the first time our girls' choir is going out to compete, so we're all really excited for them as well!
good luck to all, and i hope everyone has a great day!
yay show choir! show choir kids hooray!

And I wouldn't be surprised if the Classique ran a little late this year. I know there's a lot fewer of us alumni returning to help with stage setup (We decided watching would be a better way to pass the day )

Ok...I'm pretty much the head coordinator for the stage crew this year. And I'm definately sure I know what's going on. And for the way your degrading us, I'm personally fine without your help Joe.
GC: Franklin Central (Vocals, choreo)
1ru - Dekalb
2ru - Luers
3ru - Homestead
4ru - Carroll
5ru - Dwenger
FC tends to do pretty well against the Ft. Wayne-area choirs. Dekalb will most likely be their toughest competition. We all know about Luers big upset in Ohio, and I'd love to see them do amazing again, but I think between Luers, Homestead, and Carroll will be pretty close. It will also be close between Dwenger, Columbia City, Mooresville, and 'Busco for that last finals spot.
But then again, this is my first comp this season so I haven't even seen anybody! Hopefully I'll be surprised...
Clearly JustAnObserver is not mature enough to read or post on this site. Of course as an alumni and parent I am justifiably proud of my choir!! Everyone should be proud of their choirs. You watch these kids work their butts off year after year and its fantastic to see them succeed. And if you aren't with the choir that you claim affiliation with, you have to wonder what your purpose is, whatever it is, it's not constructive...
Again, good luck to ALL the choirs
-----(but especially Luers, I love you guys!!!!!)
you are a peach.
I just want to say that im glad that bishop luers is doing so great this year. beating beaver creek isnt an easy task. but FC has an absolute amazing show this year! the energy they bring is the best i have seen since i was in school! plus beating fairfield was not any thing to be over looked. i hope you guys build on your best choreo and add a best vocals and another GC to your collection. in all honesty anything is possible with that unstopable show!!!! We are.....

It's an exciting competitor list, with choirs that I have known well for the last ten years. It will be fun to watch. For those of you that are giving love to Luers for vocals and not choreo, keep an open mind until you see this years show! It truly is awesome and unique, and the choreography has steadily progressed, and is very competitive this year. Of course the vocals are stellar, particularly the blending. Homestead, Dekalb, FC, and all the other excellent choirs always have entertaining shows and I'm really looking forward to seeing them! Luers, you have the best show you have ever had (although those of you who know me know you are missing one gaston this year BADLY ). Congratulations on your GC at Findlay (against tougher competition, in my opinion, than your 1RU at Beaver Creek). I noted with interest your "best choreography" award along with your "best vocals" and "best solo" awards. I think you'll be right in the running this week at a great competition. See you there, its my 1st time at competition this year and I can't wait. Have FUN!!
GREG!
we miss you so much!!! i can not wait to see you on saturday!!
yay for our favorite show choir daddy!!!!!!!!!!
is debbie coming to?!?!?!?
i LOVE you guys!
okay not to be mean but honestly....we get it luers you won your first comp in like 6 years and you got best everything...I am kind of tired of hearing about it so if we could focus on this weekend that would be great....If you wanna be a jerk about winning that's how you do it right there
I'd like it to be known that JustAnObserver has no affiliation with Milton Choralation.
