Celebration, wondering why I put you last? It's not because I have anything against you, it's just that at socal you guys placed 9 out of 10 and that my friends is pretty darn bad. I also think your choreography is way too easy! But I can understand that since you guys only meet once a week.
Yes we placed 9 out of 10....possible reasonings...
1. We went on first, which can typically hurt your score, although sound unlimited went first and took first, you have to remember that they are one of the most out standing girls groups and always are.
2. Who was one of the judges? oh!!! was it B.V's old director??? oh yeah it was.
3. SoCal has always been partial to SoCal groups, its just the way it works, always, every year.
4. We were missing people, (key people at that) now being 19 people to begin with, i'd say that would play a little role.
there are more reasons that i can name, but they would be slightly out of line. Thanks for your prediction non the less. Your last place prediction will be sure to give our group a little more insentive to go out there and give it our all. GOOD LUCK CELEBRATION!!!!!!
Ron Bolles is the most fair judge out there, he's had more experience in choir than any other I imagine. He's not partial to BV, otherwise Machine would have won both this year and last instead of Burroughs.
The reason you say they're partial to SoCal choirs is because you're making an opinion of a fact: Music Machine in the first six years of SoCal's existence was the best choir out there hands down, and then in 2000, Burbank took SoCal because it was having an awesome year, Machine was the best choir there in 2001, and Burroughs was good enough to win in 2002, and again this year.
Don't be bitter about that. Just don't assume things like how going first was the decisive reason you guys didn't place.

Im sorry, but I have to do this... Celebration was not that good. Sure MAtt did an awesome job on his solo, but the rest of the show was not that good. Ending with a slow song.... .....we did that last year and it doesnt get you anywhere!
Ok, you think that we arent that good, but i am pretty sure that we are somewhat decent due to the fact that the judges score us really high. On more than one occasion, believe it or not, we have been within points from burbank, Hart and Burroughs. Helix, sorry I have to do this, but i have never seen a good show come out of your school, and i think you need to stop thinking so highly of yourself. I know that we arent Burroughs or Hart, but we do put out a quality show. And ending with a slow song may not have gotten you anywhere, but Helix and Celebration are different. oh my goodness (or lack thereof) i can't believe Tim put down our show! how sad...but Brett you're a little out of line, just because you haven't seen anything good come out of helix doesn't mean it hasn't happened...i mean hell...i didn't even know you were TALENTED until this year sweety, stranger things have been realized.
But i do Agree with Brett in the feeling that we have to work harder than any other choir... i mean..with about 20 ppl and ONE rehearsal every week...it just takes so much more focus and discipline. It's a lot easier for a group with 60 ppl to have a lot of energy than for a group of 20 and with one of our most talented soloists in a wheelchair...
But please boys, try not to let your penises do the talking, choir is fun, not some huge sequin fest where we try to kill eachother with our blastissimo voices and homicidal spirit fingers... SMILE!!!

Nate~ Since this is my topic, and my bet, then i would say it is fair for me to have to predictions for each place. Its not a test, and its not like I can pay myself
I dont think its really fair to have any 1. BV/Celebration stuff, cuz then how do you determine which one they predicted for that placing...its like putting 2 answers on a test in case 1 is wrong...i dont find that fair
