I want to say congratulations to all groups that were at Sauk yesterday.
It was so much fun to just sit back and watch you all do your thing up on stage.
I especially want to congratulate Reedsburg on their accomplishments at this competition!
It was awesome to see you guys back at it, wonderful job!

I might post some thoughts later, but right now I have a show to do with Logan and the Wisconsin Singers.
you all should come and enjoy it, if you haven't had enough show choir yet!

This competition was how do I put it, very surprising. So many things happened that I wasn't expecting at all, so here are my thoughts about some groups:

Mayville: Wow, you guys deserved the spot you got, your vocals and choreo were insane. I never really was sure about the whole 1 musical themed shows, but i really think you guys pulled it off so well. You have improved so much since last year, and i'm a little nervous to compete against you the next 2 weekends (at New London and Logan)

Logan: Wow, you guys have improved tremendously (idk if that's spelt right?!) over the years. You have continued to impress me ever single year more and more. I loved all your numbers, but I definatly loved your closer the most. such an awesome song, and your costumes matched it perfectly. The soloist (Katie) was really good, she definatly deserved the best female soloist.

New London: You guys have another clean, quality show this year. I really like all the little yellow pieces that form a sun at the end of the one song. Just personal opinon, but I think it might be a little over kill with the props, there are some in almost every song. But overall, good show! I'm so excited for your competition next weekend!

Reedsburg: I didn't get a chance to watch your show, but you obviously had a good one! What a surprise, definatly pulling through as the underdogs, beating alot of really good groups! Congratulations! See you at New London!

Onalaska: I didn't get to see your show yesterday, but I did see it the weekend before at Classic. Another good year for you guys, your choreography is always awesome, and I like the costumes this year too!

Madison: Wow, also a big surprise! Your costumes are sweet, and you all dance so well. And your band makes your show 10 times more exciting the others. I sat next to you guys in the stands, and had so much fun. Such a friendly and lively bunch, I couldn't help but get up and dance!

Midwest Magic: You ladies pulled through again with a Class A/Girls GC! 4 years in a row, so exciting! Awesome job!

Good Job to everyone! I had so much fun! Hopefully see you all in the next few weekends at New London, Logan, or Waconia! Good Luck in the rest of your seasons!

Mayville and Logan-

WOW. You two groups have improved SOOOOOO much in the past few years!! Two years ago, or even last year, who would have believed that either of you guys would do so well!? KEEP IT UP!!!

Logan-- Since when!? You guys are the best surprise to happen to the La Crosse area this year! Keep it up!!!!! I cannot wait to see where this group ends up at the end of the year.

Mayville-- Any idea where I can buy a Newsies Soundtrack? Yalls were amazering-- crisp, clean, fast choreography. That chair number was awesome-- and then that there ballad!!! AAAAAHHHH!! and everyone bought into the show-- which is the most important thing when groups decide to do the musical theater style show choir. You all believed it, and it showed-- congrats on the well-deserved GC!!

Ona-- You guys made me proud. Missing how many people for day round? reblocking and reblocking how many times? With how much adversity yalls had to push through, each of you should be bursting with pride. "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!"

I'm kinda in complete shock right now...
I mean YAY!!! GO Logan!!! I'm so proud of my alum!!!

but can some explain Ona to me???? I guess i haven't seen much show choir this season.. due to college ... but.... help me understand!!! Please?

I saw them at their own competition, and i know they had to have improved by then, but their vocals were weak for how many kids they have up on stage.

The whole show was just hard to sit thru and have that "factor"

They just aren't up to where they used to be, to be honest.
