Winfield thoroughly dominated Colerain at Marysville, and Poca is much better than Winfield so I'm going to have to dissagree with this one.

My Predictions:
GC:  Dekalb
1st RU:  Edgewood
2nd:  Poca
3rd:  Winfield
4th:  Colerain

Vocals:  Dekalb
Choreo:  Edgewood

Varsity:  who knows
Girls:  Dekalb

WOW I don't know how you can say throughly dominated Colerain in finals... because if I remember correctly. They only beat us by like 5 points in finals. Last time I checked thats not thoroughly dominating a group. That is just beating a group.

Wow you truly ARE a moron... yes winfield did "dominate" over colerain during FINALS at marysville. however they won best vocals so go figure. They have competed with them at piqua and fairfield and dominated them.... Like before stated, at piqua, winfield didnt make finals and Colerain won GC, at fairfeild nor poca or winfield made finals and colerain took 2nd runner up. Marysville was colerain's first comp from what i hear from a personal friend i have in the choir so its not really a big deal winfield over took them in the night performance. So ummmm yeah buddy, good luck with those predictions, hopefully you didint put any money on it cuz you'd be one poor SOB

I highly doubt poca or winfield is going to be able to over-take colerain. Their show is awesome this year and they just keep getting better, I just saw them saturday at fairfield, where they gave two killer performances! And also poca nor winfield even made finals.... Im not trying to bring those groups down, and im not saying its impossible, but come on, its just not likely! Keep in mind this is just my opinion!

thank you so much for saying that, I cant wait for this competition it was by far my favorite from last year

To the person wondering where Southwestern HS is located. If you are in Louisville, KY - it is only about 50-60 miles away from you depending on the route that you take. You have two options.

One option is going to Jeffersonville, IN which is just across the river from Louisville. Catch Route 62 north and follow that straight into Hanover. About 40 miles maybe.

Option 2 is it aking Interstate 65 North out of Louisville and head toward Indianapolis. Travel on I - 65 until you get to the Scottsburg/Salem exit. This is route 56. Take route 56 east into Scottsburg and follow that route until you get to Hanover. Turn right at the stop light on 56 and go down about 4 blocks. The school is on the left.

This is going to be one BIG competition and should not be missed this year!

GC: Edgewood "Music Warehouse"
1st RU: DeKalb "Classic Connection"
2 RU: Poca "Visual Volume"
3 RU: Colerain "Show Cards"
4 RU: Winfield "General Admission"

Best Vocals: Edgewood
Best Choreo: Poca
Best General Effect: Winfield

I'm just going off hearsay or last year with Edgwood and DeKalb, but I have seen Poca, Winfield, and Colerain. I have seen Poca a few times this year and they have gotten better every time I have seen them so I think it is time for them to move up.

My Predictions:

Grand Champions: DeKalb "Classic Connection"
1 RU: Colerain "Show Cards"
2 RU: Edgewood "Music Warehouse"
3 RU: Poca "Visual Volume"
4 RU: Winfield "General Admission" OR East "Madrigals"
5 RU: DeKalb "Sound Sensation" (Women's)
6 RU: Princeton "Innovations" (Varsity)

And in my opinion, its kinda dumb to let the women's and Varsity winners participate in finals. It always seems to me these groups are very out of place, and I think there are more deserving groups in the championship division for those finals spots. Plus some groups that really should be in Championship, go in the varsity division just to ensure a finals position. Also thats gonna be a LOOOOONG night waiting for TWO extra groups to perform! ANYWAY, I think there are going to be some big upsets at this competition, so everyone should be prepared!
