I really hope Marysville comes out ahead at this competition. They've worked so hard this year. Break a leg Swingers!

BD, Sing your hearts out and represent!

Good luck to all the groups going. It looks like its going to be a great show. I'm pulling for Plainfield and Norwell. Can't wait to watch them online.

I'm gonna say...

GC: Los Al
1RU: Clover Hill
2RU: Findlay
3RU: Marysville
4RU: Ben Davis

I agree. I've seen Clover Hill, Findlay, and Marysville, and I think that there will be 3-4 points separating them. I'm not sure where Los Al or Ben Davis will fall, but that looks like what I was thinking as well.

Thank more than just Antwon. Thank everyone involved in this incredible event, who're making it a success.

Yes i can not agree more I have an amazing team of people who are as passionate about the arts as I am! This event would not be possible without the amazing talent of seminar leaders, judges, crew, staff, Media Relations, and of course the support of the students attending and directors! WE THANK YOU! I am just bringing my idea of what a "National" competition should feel like. It should be more of an experience and memory vs. just a trip!

Congratulations to all of you students for putting in long hours and staying up late to do homework to make Show Choir what it has become today! I am in blessed to work with the talents I have over the past years as a choreographer and now I am blessed to have a place where we can show case this art form properly!

Looking forward to 2 days of INTENSE competition. Then a show choir sabbatical is in order !

Best,

AC

Okay, so question about the pizza party/dance thing. The girls in my choir are wondering what to wear. Is it nicer clothes or very laid back casual? Never done this before. Super excited for this comp!

I strongly suspect that most if not all of the schools you mentioned were invited.

Definitely. Knowing how completely immersed Antwon has been making this a GREAT competition, I'm sure he invited almost every choir. If they chose not to come then that is their fault, not his or Finale's. It is still a great line-up and you shouldn't bash the schools that are going just because you've never heard of them before.

longest 2 weeks of my life!!!!!

Haha, Marysville had our NYC meeting last night, and let's just say, reviewing the itinerary for the trip made the waiting worse. 11 days from tomorrow for us. We're all so excited that most of us just want to skip spring break and get straight to the trip. There's something you never hear from high schoolers.
