Oh and I don't know if this is already been posted or not, but who is filming this? I would LOVE to get a finals DVD.

Thanks!

My thoughts

GC: Clinton
1st RU: EEE
2nd RU: Marysville
3rd RU: Findlay
4th RU: Hurricane
5th RU: Piqua/Zionsville/Franklin Central/Beavercreek!!!

Everyone already knows that Clinton will take the Champion. Though I do believe Clinton is beatable, there are many others who don't. A few years ago Huntington North was literally 1/2 point behind Clinton in prelims and actually outscored them in some areas. Yet in the end Clinton won on their name. I'm not saying Clinton is bad, I have seen them and was thoroughly impressed, I just think they are overrated sometimes. After Clinton getting GC, the rest of the spots are all up for grabs. I firmly believe EEE, Marysville, Findlay, Clinton, and Hurricane will make finals, but it's that last spot that will be the toughest spot to get. Beavercreek just beat Dekalb at Findlay and won GC, Zionsville beat Center Grove last year at Huntington North, Piqua has won GC's the last two weekends in a row, and Franklin Central is consistently awesome! It is going to be a tough competition and I would hate to be one of the judges because these are going to be difficult decisions. I would love to see EEE or Findlay take it all, but I don't think that will happen. But whatever the outcome, I wish all the groups the best of luck and I hope everyone has fun and enjoys the copmetition! Because it's one that is going to go down in show choir history!

Let's be careful in attacking one another. I don't want to have to close another competition topic before the competition itself even occurs.

EVERYONE has felt "screwed" at one point...normally more than once a season. I always remind people of this...show choir is a judged event. If you aren't willing to accept what the judges tell you...don't take part.

couldnt say it any better lol

Why do you question that people hate you when you are such a jerk to everybody????

Also, in the post where you stated all your "misfortunes" you kept saying "And everyone I talked to said we would win". Well who's gonna come up to your face and say "You know what Scott, FC sorta sucked. You will not be winning this competition"? That's what I thought. Anyways, maybe before you keep on bashing every group yours competes with you can have an open mind, look at how much of a (bad word) you are and shut the (another bad word) up. Really, no one wants to listen to your bickering, because frankly you just sound like an old lady.

Judges have their own opinion. Thats why some judges judge differently from others. It happens ALL the time. What choir could come and be like "We have NEVER gotten screwed" or "All judges LOVE us and always place us first"?

And lastly, no one believes that you are not meaning any of your comments as insults. It would just be wonderful if you wouldn't speak. Didn't anyone tell you that "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all"?

I don't remember the judging being screwy. I remember thinking the scoring system was set up really nicely, and I remember the panel being really impressive.

Also, we used your drumset?

it was either you guys or burroughs... PROBABLY burroughs now that i think of it... Because you all had your own because you bussed... they flew in and the drumset that FAME provided was a POS... that was why they were so off in the day show they said... Mr. Griffel let them use FC's drumset and then they rocked the house... I do remember now... sorry ana, i guess it really was just luck!!!

I'm jk... You guys worked your butts off at that competition. I remember 10 oclock the night we arrived you all were out on the parking lot intimidating *cough* i mean... Practicing and we all listened. it was a fun competition none the less.

Its like at Milton when Totino's bus crashed and Waconia gave everything Totino needed for a band.
Doesn't it feel great to do something nice?

So Scott, if the state of Iowa stops bringing up Celebration beating F.C., will you stop bringing up being slightly ahead of us in the second round of the cup "like it means something"? ;)

haha... i will ana i promise!!! but we most definately were... and i think we let you use our drumset and then you turned around and beat us... And you have to admit that the judging was screwy... even though it worked to your advantage

So kiosho jake... before you make an assumption. get the story from someone who was there... anyone who has been in Singers, or who has followed indy show choir for any length of time, knows that FC has always had the short end of the stick. So stop acting like anyone who knows anything thinks that the Danville incident where your prep group beat FC thinks of it as FC getting screwed... We all know it was just a fluke!

Well it looks like I have an apprentice

I am excited to buy a tape from this competition. Fairfield and EEE! Last time I've seen them was at Danville last year and then Great River two years ago, always love what they do. Great line up.

i honestly wasn't trying to start an argument. But i'm tired of ppl from celebration, or Iowa in general bringing that up like it means something. AND someone had mentioned wanting examples of times FC had been screwed... I was just informing the person who issued the question, and Chris, I'm sorry that i'm blunt in my posts, but they honestly aren't meant as insults. they are just my opinions, and i'm not very eloquent... if you want ELOQUENT Honest and Knowledgeable opinions, Read TScott's posts!

I just don't like to sugarcoat... Sorry if thats a problem

You don't need to sugarcoat. Just watch your wording please. Thank you

Moving on.
