there is parking at Horton Plaza which is right next to the theatre, but its only 3 hours free and its pretty expensive after that. There is also street parking all around but they are by meter until 6 and free after that. There are also plenty of parking garages all around that are usually $10-$20 for the day, I would say that's probably your best bet unless Mr.A knows of something else.
Anyone (Tony?) know anything about the parking situation for this theater?
I am very excited for this competition. My daughter is a senior (last competition ) in Sound Sensations (at Burroughs) and my son is a freshman (in Drama Tech) at Burbank. So you can imagine the rivalry in our house!
Plus I am a San Diego native, so my extended family (who all still live down there) will also be coming to this competition!
i was actually saying theres a fight for 3rd place in the INTERMEDIATE MIXED DIVISION! hahahaha some people thought i was leaving los al out...im not including them at all cuz there in advanced...

He was talking about intermediate mixed, not advanced. In any case, you should never give up the top 2 placements. Anything can happen on any given day, if you go in saying you're only competing for 3rd then you have no chance of a higher placement. Always be positive because with hard work anything can happen!
$25, are you serious???? are all california competitions that expensive?? man, i just moved here from chicago and i was looking forward to seeing a comp...but $25 is too much
Yeah, but the $25 is for the whole day, not just one division.
California competitions are usually $10 per division.

They gave a GREAT performance at Showcase, and I know that they'll be working hard up until So Cal.
So there's NO way to order tickets between now and the competition? My mom really wants to come now that I might get to go, but she won't be happy if she can't come in and is stuck in SD. :<
