Burbank and Burroughs are both nationally recognized show choirs who put on amazing shows; I don't think anyone really had a reason to "freak out." Burroughs won music and Burbank won show; the total point difference between both choirs was three points. I was actually so happy to see the way both choirs treated each other at the competition; there was more a spirit of comradery than rivalry and the event was more a celebration of awesome shows than a contest of "who's better." I know Burroughs was extremely grateful for Burbank's aid after the truck crash. Reminds you of what's really important.
Ya us and Burbank are friends. There was not a tear shed and we we're happy for them because we know they were working just as hard. Oh and congrats to Serrano!!!!^-^

Thanks to Sean Stevens and our sister school Burbank High for helping us when our equipment truck overturned on the freeway after the Los AL competition. It just goes to show we are friendly rivals and the show choir community supports each other. What a great "family" we have.

Burroughs equipment truck overturned on the freeway going home last night, luckily no one was hurt. Equipment strewn every where. Traffic shut down for hours. Will be sorting out the damage over the next couple of days.

Thank God for tireless Choir Dads and to Shawn Stevens and Burbank for coming to the rescue.

It's certainly a blessing that nobody was hurt. I'm sorry to hear about the truck and equipment, and I truly hope that everything is okay and damage is minimal.

I am sorry to hear that. All of that work to put on a great show. I hope you are able to fully recover. As a matter of fact,, I'm sure you will be! Nice job last night. Congratulations.

Burbank was incredible tonight. They really cleaned up their show, and I am sure there are arguments/controversy over what their show means and all, but whatever it means, it was executed really well tonight. I love Burroughs very much, but Burbank was just great and completely deserving of 1st. Really.
