I believe that every group did a fantastic job. Although, I am from Columbia City and City Lights was clearly screwed over. They went dead first in prelims and were much better than Laf. Jeff. and possibly Homestead. But things happen and, I clearly agree that Homestead should have beat Laf. Jeff. but like I said earlier, things happen. Debtones, congrats on once again another win. I saw your show in the cafeteria and I loved your show. CG great job on your guys number, truly amazing. Homestead, loved the book song. Twinsburg, didn't get to see you, but heard great things about your show. Also, to all who think that Twinsburg and CG were close, they weren't that close, Twinsburg was ahead of CG by at least 40-50 points, and THEY DESERVED IT FROM WHAT I'VE HEARD!! GREAT JOB!!!! See many of you at Center Grove this weekend, if this blizzard going through Northern Indiana doesn't cause any more problems with our practices and possibly this weekend!!

man im so pissed that we couldent compete at norwell!! i loved it there! last year they were soo nice eveything was great! then we had to drop out bc of a few problems the #1 problem being our band had a jazz thing or something and that really hurt us!! but we did go and not perform and we got to watch the finalists and man i LOVED LOVED twinsburg AND Center Grove!! twinsburg was soooo clean and awesome balled and cg had an amazing guys number with the evolution of dance!! that was awesome so congrats to both choirs I loved you both lol too bad there can only be one gc lol
I just have to say CONGRATS to everyone this weekend. We all from CC had a greeeat time and were really happy to be at Norwell.
*Special shout out to Pike... you guys did great, just know that. =) i loved both of your shows and I can't wait to see you all again this weekend. You're all really nice and I wish we could've seen you in finals.
*Twinsburg-- CONGRATS! I'm really disappointed that I didn't get to see your show, but I heard it was awesome. Well deserved I'm sure. =)
*Center Grove-- Congrats to the Debtones..your show is always of quality. And to the mixed, I personally like your show. The guy's number cracks me up. It's seriously like the funniest thing I've ever seen. Good job guys! Can't wait for your competition this weekend.

Almost as long as it takes to go under a user name and read the member's other posts... and find like 3 years of posting about almost nothing besides Center Grove. Anyway, I was just curious- I THINK that's still allowed on here?
CG...What can anyone say, Everyone seemed genuinely shocked at the outcome, as well they should have been. All I can say is you were only beat by a set of Judges. This was the same set of Judges that put Lafayette Jeffs Girls group in 2nd when they had terrible pitch problems. Homestead's girls group clearly came in 2nd.
Maybe you should consider knocking out a second show for Judges that don't understand the complexity of your type of production. So, when you see who the Judges are at certain contests, youbring on your Dumb Up show and just stand and lift your arms, turn around occasionally, get in a huddle and let er rip!
Just a thought. As good as you guys are, I cannot imagine it taking very long for you to put together a show like that.

This sounds like I didn't like Twinsburg. Far from the truth. I thought they were awesome and clearly one of the best groups I have seen in a while. But, I didn't believe they were better than CG. Their show didn't have the variety, the degree of difficulty in dance or music, nor was it half as entertaining. They had a very good sound and I enjoyed their show as well as the other groups in the night show.
Good Luck to everyone the rest of the year. Night Moves....WOW! You guys are great this year. You will be hard to beat.

It is not often that an Ohio group comes to Indiana, faces a judging panel entirely from Indianapolis, and still comes out on top. Congrats to Twinsburg and Center Grove on amazing shows during both the prelims and finals! Thanks so much to our Norwell hosts for a pleasant, organized day which ran on schedule to the very end. We had a great time!
