I am very unsure of what each group will bring Saturday. This will be a very tough competition. Good luck to everyone competing! I will be watching what I can from the live stream.

I don't know why Clover Hill is competing as a Tier 2 group...
Well, that is an interesting story...
As posted here a couple times, we set Divisions based on Choir size. The original information that I had said that there were 36 S/D in New Dimensions, which put them squarely in the middle of Division B. This also gave this Competition fairly even divisions number wise. Everyone who has ever organized one of these things likes even divisions or tiers. Usually, it gives more schools a better chance at winning some hardware and recognizing the hard work of their students no matter who goes to finals or how they place.
A few days ago, Clover Hill brought to my attention that they actually have 48 S/D.
This is, of course, a big deal. Not only do avid Show Choir fans begin to question the decisions of a competition, but more tangible things are now affected. The program has already gone to print, posters are being made, etc. So these issues are not minor in any way.
So what is our solution? Clover Hill moves to Division A. The problem now is that we have six "A" schools and two "B" schools...very uneven.
In order to even things out (slightly) we have moved the school, Medina, with the smallest number of S/D in A down to B. We did this after consulting with that school.
Regardless, the daytime awards will have no bearing on who goes to finals.
To sum up: Clover Hill is in A, Medina is in B. Also, Twinsburg Mood Swingers will slide into the Men's time slot at 9:40am.
2. During the preliminary competition (morning & afternoon), high school choirs will be broken into four divisions based on the following breakdown:
Division A: Choirs with 41 S/D or more.
Division B: Choirs with 31 to 40 S/D.
Division C: Choirs with less than 30 S/D or less.
Single-Gender: Choirs of one gender.
Twinsburg "Judge's Break" has decided to go to Wheaton Warrenville South that day instead, so no warm up problem.
Not really... Sad to announce "Judge's Break" will not be appearing at Solon. Variety of reasons... if you buy me an M&M blizzard (which I am currently craving) I'll share the less than exciting and less than scandalous details.
We're still waiting on the scandalous Southmont details.
And shucks, I got really excited to see Judge's Break at Wheaton for all of three seconds. It would definitely be worth an M&M Blizzard to get you there!

So many fantastic groups! Loveland is not only excited to compete with everyone here, but also to meet up with some great friends! This contest is stacked with both talent and class, some of the best directors and the nicest kids in the country all packed in one day. This will be one to remember

Slight schedule change. Ankeney Connection and Loveland Allure have swapped positions. Connection is onstage at 10:05am and Allure will go at 10:30am.
Thanks for the fix! Should be good to go now
