I said I wasn't going to predict competition placements with groups that I haven't seen at all... but this one is just to much fun to pass up...

Grand Champions- Clinton
1st Runner Up- Eisenhower
2nd Runner Up- Marysville
3rd Runner Up- Findlay
4th Runner Up- Hurricane
5th Runner Up- Piqua

Best Vocals- Clinton
Best Choreography- Clinton
Best Band- Clinton

Now before I get ripped to shreds... these are my opinions. I know some of you will think "Well 'choir A' beat 'choir B' 2 weeks ago... blah blah blah". This competition is the first weekend of March... not 2 weeks ago. Every choir either improves, stays the same, or sometimes gets worse. This also is a brand new judging panel. New competition + New judging panel + New week= Varied Results (different than the past).

Hmm seeing how Franklin,Beavercreek and Piqua were very close at Zionsville . . . I will have to say that who ever has the best show of those 3 and works hardest will get into finals . . . . . Beavercreek sings the best of the 3 and Franklin has the cleanest choreography . . and Piqua is really close to vocals and choreography.
GC: Clinton
1 ru: Hurricane
2 ru: Marysville
3 ru: Eisenhower
4 ru: Findlay
5 ru: Piqua/Beavercreek/ FC/Zionsville?

vocals: Clinton
choreography: Clinton
band: Clinton

Loveland HS "By Request"
Middletown HS "Purple Pizzazz"
Zionsville HS "Royalaires"
Beavercreek HS "Friends"
Marysville HS "Swingers Unlimited"
Eisenhower HS "Elite Energy"
Clinton HS "Attache"
Franklin Central HS "FC Singers"
Findlay HS "First Edition"
Piqua HS "The Company"
Hurricane HS "Red Hot"

Wow! This competition could use a little more firepower don't ya think?!

I have seen Piqua, Beavercreek, Findlay, FC, Marysville and an abbreviated Zionsville show and this is what I think...

Finalists:

Solid:
Cinton
Marysville
Eisenhour
Piqua
Hurricane

Up for grabs(in this order):
FC
Findlay
Zionsville
Beavercreek

Reasoning:

Piqua in FC on bubble...Piqua defeated FC this weekend in Zionsville, though I love the origionality of the FC show it is choreographed very well and the vocals are good(just good)...they will be close but if there are any mistakes look for Findlay to capitalize!

Marysville has an amazing show and they will do very well but the Choreo just isnt quite there if they fall low this will be why because the vocals are amazing!

Zionsville has a huge choir but from what I saw they have a couple of weeks to get it in order because it was very choppy this weekend!

I can't wait for this day! I'm hosting clinton and I'm excited to meet them. I know of so many local people that aren't even involved with show choir that are coming to watch because it is being advertised around fairfield like crazy! I can't even begin to predict what will happen i just hope everyone has fun. I personally can't wait to watch all the great groups!

P.s I think i have some showcats coming to see me too!

I think in a fight a showcat would probably win over a showcard..

Didn't you hear Evan?

We got those Siegfried & Roy showcats too. I heard a rumor Attache uses them in their show...

Ha!

" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

It's good to see even directors can enjoy our fun "Attache" game.
