ok if you don't like Findlay, then you don't like Center Grove right? Considering he choreographs both.

Rian, he said NOTHING about disliking Andy Haines....he just said he wasn't thrilled about Findlay's show.

Also, osumondo, he never said it can't be entertaining. He said that to him, it's not entertaining and that HE can't sit through it again. It wasn't telling others not to sit through it, he was simply stating that he wouldn't. He also credited Findlay with performing what they are given, very well. I realize that this is Scott, but he's not half as argumentative as he was before, and you all are making him seem a lot worse than what he is.

ever heard the phrase, "if you haven't seen it, it's new to you?"

osumondo you took the words out of my mouth.

i honestly don't care how findlay places, but i will not watch their show... I'm sorry, yes they are better than last year... but... I HATE THEIR SHOW... it drives me mad everytime i see it... i mean... PLEASE, Lets try and do something original. BUT i do have to give it to you guys Findlay... You perform your show VERY well... I just wish i could see you do something more innovative than 42nd street, What i did for love, and... I don't even care... whatever... I believe in love? something

someone needs to take their medication.

ever heard the phrase, "if you haven't seen it, it's new to you?" don't get me wrong, i saw findlay's show this year for the first time and a few of my colleagues and i were calling out the moves in 42nd st. before they even happened, it's just the nature of the beast sometimes. that doesn't mean it can't be entertaining, especially for someone else seeing it for the first time, so enough with the bashing, we get it.

kinda " border="0" alt="offtopic.gif" /> , but i wonder what the attendance record is for a show choir competition not named showstoppers/fame/sc nationals/etc? with fairfield's arena, you could seat what... four or five thousand, if the entire floor and bleachers and mezzanine were filled? very likely that house will be SRO come march 3rd...

(edited to add the pissed off guy with the sign)

I'm like super excited for this competition! Just getting into finals is going to be tough. Groups are definately going to give us a run for our money and that's why it's so exciting! Competition is great! lol As for Attache's costumes...they're nice...simple, but nice. It doesn't matter anyways 'cause I guarantee their show is amazing and I can't WAIT to see them live!

i really don't think looking at pictures of the outfits ruins much if any of the live performing experience. i can't speak from the perspective of having looked at photos and then seeing Clinton perform, but it has been the case with my first time of watching many other groups, and it's about as telling of the quality of a performance as reading the set list.

you may know what's coming next, but you don't know how and how well it will be done.

Agreed. They are all mostly head/one person shots anyways.

Fairfield is going to be amazing. I wish I could have traversed all the way out to see it... but, it would just be too much of a jaunt in one weekend. 1458 miles all together doesn't sound too much fun (12 hours).

For those that are going and haven't seen Clinton yet. Please don't look at the pictures... It's more of a suprise if you don't. (This Message brought to you by the letter P & MVshow choir) ;)

I think they get the point Rian. lol

Now that i've derailed the actual discussion of the comp, let's get back on track. " border="0" alt="innocent.gif" />

EDIT: For the record, I think there are certain things such as props and lighting effects that are better off revealed Live. Those are two of the cooler parts of that show.
