without the lighting, it would be boring.

At most competitions in the nation, there are no special lighting effects. No competitions in the Western Midwest do it, very little in the Eastern Midwest do it, and no Southern competitions do it. To say that it would be boring isn't true, as most competitions have just regular bright lights.

This seems like an amazing competition. However, I am thankful that our southern competitions do not use the effect stage lighting. It's highly distracted and often clashes with the show.

Man, I wish that one lady who was talking about political issues and old Disney movies was sitting next to the camera again. She was one of the most entertaining parts of SoCal last year!

My friends at Chico State think I am crazy for not wanting to do anything today and sit in front of a computer watching a choir competition...but I don't care. :> Good luck In Sync tonight...I love and miss you!

Just a note for anyone who is experiencing any skipping during the live feed, just pause it for a moment and let it buffer up for a few seconds... then when you unpause it, it should play very smoothly. Thanks for sharing the experience with us!
