We'll turn into pumpkins.

It reached 17 hours, but they bumped up the end time to 20 hours, so Cinderella should be okay. By the way the Devil guy in the commercial looks like the Fame Chicago 2008 emcee, anybody else notice?

Definitely. They really blew me away, and I can't wait to see what happens at SoCal next weekend.

Oh, and Marsville? Really?

He can sing, but apparently can't read

Of course I would get a phone call and miss Los Al. I really am a huge fan of Clover Hill's show to be honest. For the first year ever hearing about them, I was blown away.

I enjoy watching Patrick on screen right now in Marysville

The men are from Marsville, but the women are from Venusville.

I agree. I'm even going to say their show tonight is good enough to give Burroughs and Burbank some serious competition next weekend. I can see changes they've made that have taken it to that level. This was the show I've wanted to see from them all year and they delivered in spades.

Question, I know how they do it here in Iowa, but in other states, when determining divisions, is it size of school or size of group?

In California, we split our Advanced Mixed groups into two divisions based on the size of the group. The 1st divison is groups with 40 members or less. Ex: Hart, Bonita, Serrano, Carlsbad. The 2nd division involves groups with over 40 people in it. Ex: Burroughs, Burbank, Brea and Los Al.

On another note, GO LOS AL WE LOVE YOU AND WE ARE ROOTING YOU GUYS ON BACK HOME!!!!!
(was the all caps too much?)

Heather Hoppus.

That information is conveniently located in our database by following the "choirs" link above.

April James choreographed Los Al's whole show (brilliantly ).

I think night will be different. Los Alamitos was two or three notches above Clover Hill. I would have to put them at the level of Wheaton and Totino, judging from what I just saw.

Personally I think Los Al performs like crazy everytime, but I had some problems with their pitch multiple times. Particularly girls in the balad and boys in the boys number and closer. I think Clover Hill actually sang better. Both groups were phenomenal though!

In Ohio, the class system is based on school size, which doesn't really carry over to a group's size or ability that often.

I think I just died... For half of the show I was thinking "<rubs eyes> Attache?" Then I remembered April James. And then they did "Dream On" and wowie. That was brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. Marysville will have a difficult time following them. Any choir would.

In Indiana there is both... but usually its determined by group size.

I'm too exhausted to get into it, but school size =/= choir size.
