Every varsity group was really good!
So if you performed today, congrats on your show.
Getting into finals will be a challenge.
Not even sure how to try and predict this one. It's all a big blur of amazing show choirness haha

Assuming I get it working properly, you can watch ATSC around approximately 5:45-50 at this link and then finals as well.

I had to leave a bit early, but I'll be cheering on Millard West from a distance. I really enjoyed their show this year, and I could see them snatching the GC. Good luck WIG!

I WILL NEVER GET TIRED OF SEEING GRETNA REVOLUTIONS SHOW THIS YEAR.
IT'S COMPELLING, EXCITING, INTERESTING, AND EXECUTED SO WELL.
IF YOU HAVENT SEEN IT, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND FIND A WAY TO.
(Excuse my excited and emotional yelling) haha

But seriously. Really hoping they make finals, well deserved, but also, I would love too see it for a 5th time this season hahaha :D

Here already, and Skutt Catholic Vivace was already a reeeeally nice surprise!
Starting the day off with a finals worthy performance (although that's how most if not all groups are going to be today!) Lots of energy, good sound and the guys were really good especially.
GREAT start to the day and good job to them

This is, by far, one of the deepest and most even COE I have seen in years. I think, more than anything, this is a testament to the level of quality of Nebraska groups. I've said this many times before, but it is worth repeating over and over: Nebraska is absolutely on a roll. Of course Nebraska has always had the power group in Omaha Westside and then random years you could sprinkle in Lincoln Southwest, GINW, Millard West, Papio South, Papio LV, etc., but just over the last five years the middle ground groups have jumped up and begun to show consistent success (Gretna, Ralston, GISH, Norris, Millard North, Elkhorn South, etc). It is amazing to see.

I won't even bother making predictions because this one could go a million different ways. Good luck to everyone!

I might be there this weekend, so I'll take a hardcore stab in the dark at predictions

GC: Mitchell (BC)
1RU: Millard West (BV)
2RU: Millard North (BB)
3RU: Elkhorn South
4RU: Grand Island Northwest
5RU: Keller Central

Ten (give or take) solid groups battling it out for 6 finals spots and the honor to show how they fair against some of the best in the western Midwest (and Texas )? Sounds amazing.

I'll be there Friday evening and all day Saturday volunteering as a judge's assistant. It's looking like a great competition!

I honestly think any of the Varsity groups could find their way in to finals. This could be one of the premier Midwest competitions of the season. I'll luckily be going and i cant wait to see all these amazing choirs. Saying that, here's my (probably wrong) predictions for finalists. (I've tried to sort them out but its too hard to determine just where to put which group).

SO,

Finalists(in no particular order):
Elkhorn South
Millard North
Millard West
GINW
Central
Mitchell

Again, this competition is gonna be so close and could put anyone else in, such as Gretna's "Revolucion", Papio's Modern showcase and CR Jefferson.

Overall it will be a true "Competition of Excellence"

Oh wow, it's going to be a huge blood bath. @___@
A lot of amazing groups with great shows will unfortunately be going home early. =\
Good luck to all though! It's going to be an AWESOME competition to be at!

I'm really excited to see some groups again like Gretna (love that's showww ), Papio la Vista, and GINW. As well as see some of the usual great ones like Friend de Coup, Cedar Rapids Jefferson, and Keller Central! Along with all other groups!

Predictions:
GC: Mitchell
1RU: Millard West
2RU: Millard North
3RU: Keller Central
4RU: Lincoln Southwest
5RU: Grand Island

The top three could be pretty close, Mitchell is always good, Millard West beat a good Johnston group already, and Millard North had a good showing at their first competiton.
