Mitchell lost best vocals to Millard West just a couple weeks after they finished learning their show. They sing much better now. I think they'll sweep.
I know that everyone has Friend De Coup winning, but Papio South performs their show so well that I don't know how Mitchell will sweep let alone win. I was extremely surprised when Papio didn't make finals at Wheaton. I thought they were the cleanest choir there and their vocals were amazing. I think they'll win with best vocals and possibly choreo if the judges are going for cleanliness. We saw Mitchell at westside and I think Papio is just better all around unless Mitchell has improved a lot since we saw them.

That aside, I do think Papillion South has a shot at best vocals. They have fantastic sound! So does Mitchell, but if anyone can take a caption away from FDC here, I'm guessing it's going to be Titanium.
Also, this competition marks 4 weeks of competing for Titanium; they should be peaking now & I'll bet they're going to try for the gold here. That (plus all the other stellar groups) makes for a pretty exciting weekend.

I feel like Mitchell will take home Grand Champion solely because they're undefeated so far this season and have won over some great groups such as Ankeny Centennial, Johnston, Millard West, Millard North, and Lincoln Southwest. Also, Bloomington Kennedy is on fire this year.......literally. After seeing them at Waconia this past weekend, I could see them doing very well here. Papillion La-Vista South also had a strong showing at Elkhorn South last weekend. Both Sioux City East and Bishop Heelan have GC's under their belt, and I've heard that Gretna has an amazing show this season as well. Should be a very fun one to watch! I appreciate the analysis that goes into your predictions!
Does anyone know any info about the other two prep show choirs (besides Titan express ) competing at this competition ?

1RU through 4RU are very hard to judge right now as Papillion hasn't even competed yet but knowing they always have a really successful program should be an indicator that they will place high. Gretna's show is so different that I feel some judges love it and some hate it. I, personally, love it and I hope everyone gets to see it because its very intriguing. East is back on its game this year and RIG is always so freaking good haha. The way Mitchell looks right now though is though they are unstoppable. This will be a good competition, I wish I could go!
