Perf. order is Auburn, Enterprise, Jackson Prep, Homewood, Fairfield.
I assume it was a random order based on the prelim placements and this performing order. It's kind of a shame, because I'm guessing Fairfield will miss a lot of these performances due to warm ups. Hopefully they still get to see some of these stellar shows!
Also does anyone know the judges for the Southern Showcase?

Also, I just don't see Fairfield placing that high here. I almost feel as if Fairlfield is similar to Mt Zion in regards to their always amazing performances, yet poor finals placements (both groups seem to give me this vibe consistently).
This is a really interesting comment. I understand what you're saying and I somewhat feel the same way. In general in terms of just entertaining and interesting shows, Fairfield and Mt. Zion are consistently at the top of my list. I think these choirs really perform incredibly balanced show choir shows. There's the show and there's the choir. They don't play to the scoresheet which shows in placements here and there, but they're still fabulous.
From what I hear, Pure Elegance is consistently fantastic, so I have them ahead of Homewood.
I saw Fairfield PE on a live feed earlier this year. I really enjoyed their show. They're without a doubt the best women's group in Ohio and have often made finals as mentioned above, but I'm not sure they would place higher than Homewood mixed. That might be a bit too ambitious, but you never know I guess.

I would LOVE for JP to beat Fairfield, but I don't think it will happen this year (if they do--Clinton better be ready next week). Auburn's show is amazing this year (saw it at PRCC). From what I hear, Pure Elegance is consistently fantastic, so I have them ahead of Homewood.

I'd also like to point out the intense competition going on in the women's division. Homewood "Legacy" has made finals at 2 competitions (Jackson Prep and Albertville), Auburn "Elan" at two (Tallassee and MSCC), and Fairfield "Pure Elegance" at 2 (Burlington and Marysville)!

Usually I might be rooting for Jackson Prep, but after recently hearing about a new billboard they put up in their town that says, "Reveillon: Currently Ranked Number1 by National Show Choir Rankings" I'm a little bit bitter.
Also, I just don't see Fairfield placing that high here. I almost feel as if Fairlfield is similar to Mt Zion in regards to their always amazing performances, yet poor finals placements (both groups seem to give me this vibe consistently).
I don't see Fairfield loosing here and if they do, I see it being to Jackson Prep. I think Homewood will be fighting for the 1RU spot (most likely against Jackson Prep). I'm really excited for Homewood and Jackson Prep to face off again, and it's even more exciting with Fairfield in the mix.
