This would be a really fun one.
I remember my first Mt. Zion inviational in 2005 when I basically had zero idea what show choir was outside of my own little group. And from then on I was hooked. Eisenhower was beyond amazing that year (highlights included that insane opener Rubber House, High and Mighty, Tambourines, the use of Prince, Zach Grey and especially Brenna See). I saw the Crete-Monee faces for the first time and have only seen one other girls performance that comes close to their 2005 set. And DeKalb with Shakalaka Baby and Seeing Mt. Zion for the first time.
I have so many vivid memories from that day it is awesome. Best of luck to all of the performers this year
After posting this I realized that was almost 10 years ago and it made me feel OLD haha
I added the competition schedule above. I know that CR Jefferson "Ovation" is a prep group, but are they actually competing in the prep division here? I find it strange that "Ovation" isn't at 11 AM with the Prep groups and instead starts off at 12 PM with the advanced mixed groups. Seems like a weird place for a lunch/judge's break if "Ovation" is in fact competing with the other Prep groups. Any thoughts on this? I just want it to be accurate above.

I haven't seen Wheaton's show this year, but if it was anything like last year then it will be fantastic. Although I put Twinsburg in 1RU I'm sure they'll give Wheaton a run for their money. I got to see Twinsburg at Ada this fall and was amazed. Every thing was spot on and they earned a much deserved GC there for their "winter wonderland". I haven't heard a lot about the others, but everything I have heard about them are only good things!! The last four could switch around a bit... Either way it seems to be a great weekend! I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's all a prep division. In the past, Mt. Zion has had a Prep/Single-Gender Division with the girls in Prep if there wasn't enough women's groups competing.

All of these groups appear to be mixed groups competing in what I would assume to be the Prep division, aside from Crete Monee "Faces" which is advanced women's. Is "Faces" in a women's division (and the only one) while the other mixed groups are all competing in Prep? Or are they all in an "other" division?
