Okay, so these are my preliminary rankings based upon results and not quality or personal preference of a show. These are probably subject to change if MIC this weekend pits two powerhouses against each other.

GC: Carmel/Zionsville
1RU: Carmel/Zionsville
2RU: Ben Davis
3RU: Franklin Central
4RU: Pike/Center Grove

Thank you!!!! That's what I was saying over on that topic. Nothing against Urbandale's competition. It was great. But this is WAY better! I wish I could come!

Just reading the first 6 schools in ABC order tells you the competition will be great, and that's not even the whole list.

I would say this will shape up to be better than Urbandale. That was a great competition, but from experience all of these Indiana groups are so fierce! There's no way I could predict a winner.

I feel like this should be the "state" competition instead of actual state.

I'm going to have to agree with this. INDIANA BLOODBATH 2013.

Does anybody have a schedule for this competition yet? I have family coming to watch from out-of-town and asking when to come, etc. We're getting pretty close to the date of what promises to be a great one! Schedule PLEASE?!?!? Thanks!
You need to get on your directors and tell them to get posting.

So you're saying that those six would replace Wheaton, Ankeny, Kennedy, and Prairie, leaving none of those groups in finals?

No, I only included 5 groups. Meaning I think Wheaton would stay in and those 5 would join. However, I do think Zionsville would be subject to not making finals if the two competitions were combined. Head-to-head backs up my statement. None of those choirs have ever beaten any of these Indiana groups to my knowledge. Feel free to show me results that prove me wrong. (I think Ankeny 08 would've beaten all of them, but they didn't compete against any of them)

What does that have to do with anything?

That's why I added the "Off Topic" icon. Lol. I only said that because I'm going to the competition though. Didn't mean to spark an argument or anything.

Ya, sorry but you are SO wrong about this. Carmel, Center Grove, Lawrence Central, Franklin Central, and Zionsville would all make finals at Urbandale for sure.

I'm curious, where else online but SCC would you read about who's going to a competition?

Geez. This is a bloodbath. There's probably 5 groups who are powerhouse GC quality choirs. Not to mention the other 3 or 4 who are EXTREMELY competitive and win GCs all the time.

Wow... If I had to choose one Indiana competition to go to, this would be it! This is probably the best lineup I've seen for any competition yet this year.
