A huge alumni/SCA counselor delegation will be in attendance... anywhere from 20-30 people. We're all excited!

I want to go so bad

Anyone know the judges? I've heard Verda Slinkard and Ly Tartell will be there.

I've only seen most of these choirs once or less in my entire life... There's really no way I could make an accurate prediction. I do however know that Mitchell's style resembles Illinois style quite a bit, very choreo intensive and precise vocals. We'll see how this pans out on Saturday...

this is....INSANE

my vote's on mitchell fighting with WV for the top spot. their bright, pure vocal sound will be loved here and they could take the cake I think. Who really knows? I just wish I could be here....

can't wait for results!

Blind predictions:

GC: Mt. Zion "Swingsations"
1RU: Mitchell "Friend de Coup"
2RU: Waubonsie Valley "Sound Check"

And I have no clue for the rest. I've only seen two groups on this list, Mitchell and Bloomington Jefferson. Mitchell's show really impressed me, which is why I have them doing so well, but I don't really know how good the other groups are. I've heard Mt. Zion's name tossed around a lot, and I know they won FAME Hollywood, so...

I haven't seen most of these groups live before. I am incredibly excited for this. The only group I have seen this year from the list is Friend de Coup.

I had heard somewhere that Crete Monee is attending. Does anyone know? I'm really hoping so, they're having a fantastic season and I can remember when Crete was a super strong Illinois show choir which has been a while- its time they are back to that standard, and it seems that this is their year.
Yes Crete is going.

Hello.
A while back i posted via show choir (face book pg) a video of your guys opener. Along with that i commented "we can totally beat this " I am terribly sorry to all who toke offence to this, because i know many did. I did not mean any of what i said in a negative way, but was really just trying to say that you guys were AMAZING!!!! and we were going to have to work our butts off. I am very very sorry for the HUGE misunderstanding and hope that u can still think of Onalaska as a respectful group after my mistake. Once again, i want to apologize, Onalaska is not the kind of show choir that slanders others, i just wasn't thinking clearly about how people might take offence to my comment.

Good luck on the rest of your season guys!!

Very admirable.
