Not sure. I can't find it in last year's program or last year's archives.

It wasn't me.

The "announcement" section on their website says that "it all begins at 12:45pm"... maybe that's when Encore goes?

wow what time does this competition start?
Early, I'm sure, but we perform last so we don't need to be there too early

oh. WOW. what time will you guys have to be at the school?? I would be so tired if I had to practice before I went to a competition.
luckily, we don't load busses till 1, so we are having practice at 11 I would need a constant caffeine supply for the rest of the day if it were any earlier haha. Hopefully this is the only time the weather gets this bad before a competition!

Yeah the same has happened to us... we have to squeeze in an extra rehearsal Saturday before we leave to make up for our practice cancelations...

Did we ever say it wasn't a competition? All that was said was a sarcastic joke about how many groups were going to be there and you took unnecessary offense to it

Let's just drop it.

2RU: West Des Moines Dowling

4RU: Iowa City High prep

Except, a competition is a competition regardless of how many groups attend. And these groups are very good groups, so it should be a great day

All of our rehearsals have been cancelled this week due to snow... with a snow day today and one already called for tomorrow- I'm not as excited for this as I was before. :-/

It wasn't even off-color. It was funny. I'm not gonna lie I laughed out loud when I read it.

Same here! haha

And my point is that it was just a joke. There's never been anything wrong with someone making an off-color joke

Usually Davenport North goes here, but recently quit coming because it falls on the weekend of our Bachelor Capture dance and many of our members have become candidates on court in years past making it difficult to attend anymore
