But you still have Damon, correct?

I'm doing fewer and fewer "full shows", as age slowly creeps up on me and I do more writing! Travel a'int as easy on the body as it used to be (this week I'm in Tampa, Savannah, Burbank and Detroit!!) In fact, my oldest daughter is even beginning to do some on-site visits to schools in my place to teach and clean movement. I asked Jarad last year to come in and help with City High, and he did a GREAT job for us. It was a really good infusion of a new style into the show and we hope folks like it. God Bless, Damon Brown

**By the way, Adam, Storm is one of my best friends in the world and I STILL couldn't spell his name correctly on a pop quiz! My favorite "mis-spelling" happened a couple years ago while I was in Burbank. The hotel I sometimes stay at is next to a Black Angus steakhouse. One night I noticed the "G" was burned out,....

What would you say Spencer? Worst misspelling of Xhilaration was at "MoShow" last year?

What was that one again? Xileration or something? I don't know if I can pick a "worst" out of all the misspellings I have seen over the years!

If anyone is interested. On the facebook page entitled "Show Choir". Iowa City 4th Avenue is the Song of the Day for today. Here's the link to their video.

As long as Adam is going to do it too...

Yeah... I suck at his name... and Z - I - E - G - L - E - R. I always end up effing it up and putting the "E" before the "I".

haha

Such a fun game.

Yes Jorge, we still have Damen. But we brought in Jared Voss (Xavier Choreographer) to do one song.

I'm in City High 4th Ave Jazz Company, and yes we do have a talented group this year. We have changed the format of our show and we're more "modern" now I guess you could say. Saturday will be some fun competition

I'm interested to see Urbandale this year with their new director. Whether he is sticking with what they've done in the past, or whether he is taking the program in another direction. I'm sure either way they'll find success.

agreed. Also interested to see how Valley does now that Esser isn't there.

Jeez haakon love fest going.

Anyway, here our my shot in the dark w/o night vision goggles and only having seen ankeny.(shamless plug)

GC:Ankeny(call me a homer)
1RU:Wheaton
2RU:Urbandale
3RU:Xavier
(I really feel that any of these top 4 could go in really any order and I wouldn't be surprised.)
4RU: Valley anyone remember when Choralation was more of a "swing choir" i.e. back in the early 00's I remember seeing valley at Metrofest(dating myself) and how they seemed like a "fish out of water" amongst all of these show choirs. Then seeing them last year it was like oh hey welcome to Show Choir. anywho I am monologuing.(sp?)
5RU: dang this one is hard between IC, Muscatine, and LC. I am going to say Lewis Central takes it but Again I could see it going any way.

Note: I am only recently getting back into the show choir scene after a four year hiatius (life in the navy is not conducive to Show Choir watching) so take my predictions for what you will.
