According to the event page, West Des Moines Valley was 2RU and Bloomington Kennedy was 3RU. Not that it's relevant to the topic, but I just wanted to clarify for historical sake in case anyone were to read this and be confused.

Iowa City High and West both did not make finals last year, the results were-

GC- Xavier
1st RU- Davenport Central
2nd RU- Bloomington Kennedy
3rd RU- West Des Moines Valley
4th RU- Muscatine
5th RU- Dowling Catholic

I agree with the WWS sweep. Has anyone heard any rumblings out of Iowa City? City High has their moments and I've heard they've got a talented group this year...But, that was back in July.

I'm taking Wheaton in a sweep unless Ankeny has improved a lot since last year, which isn't impossible by any stretch
agreed. we went to WWS last year, and they were AMAZING. sorry ankeny haha.

This should be a very interesting competition I agree that any of the top four could be anywhere. It is good to see a new des-moines area competiton truly blossoming to complement competitions in urby(hehe i know the urbandale people hate that), johnston, and se polk.

WOW! I wish I could go to this! I'm gonna throw out a prediction for kicks.

GC:Ankeny
1RU:Urbandale
2RU:WWS
3RU:Xavier
4RU:Muscatine
5RU:West Des Moines Valley

I also wish I could be at this one because this lineup is fantastic! I have to imagine Wheaton-Warrenville is the favorite, but I think any of the groups you predicted in the top four spots could finish in just about any order.
