Well if you would really like to know...

I Don't think having FC is totally off, and I think even you can agree on that one.

HN will have their first week out, and honestly, the more i think about it, they could go lower, I'm feeling another weaker year for HN, but they may still be able to pull it up for this weekend. They have a very classic sound that I, and many judges, enjoy hearing.

Zionsville has Aaron Coates back directing, so I am expecting them to be back to where they were. He has very strong shows, and knows how to make shows that are both crowed pleasing and score sheet pleasing.

LC... well you may have gotten 1st runner up, but that was up against different groups. I feel like these schools may have stronger shows that LC. I have not seen LC yet this year, but I normally am not the biggest fan of your shows. The group performs very well, but I don't think your shows in general are very strong. But you may prove me wrong. And feel free to please do prove me wrong!

The day of the show can produce totally different things. After watching everyone's shows predictions could deff. change, but going into this comp. fairly blind about what these groups are doing this year, and just going by what I have seen in the past. That is what I posted as my predictions.

I hope that helps you feel better. Just remember someone has to win and someone has to lose. Now if you don't like people thinking you will get 3rd runner up, then work your hardest and do well this week, and keep it up and then people will tend to predict you higher. I mean no disrespect by my predictions. They are just my thoughts.

Good day!!!

I was just wondering why you think that LC is gonna get 4th? They just got 1st runner up their first weekend out. They just finished there show the thursday before Pike. Getting 1st runner up at a competition after just finishing their show 2 days before. They are gonna have all this week to clean and prepare for this comp. You are entitled to your opinion, but I am kind of tired of people putting down predictions with nothing to back them up with.

I am curious as to if you are a parent or a student, your profile says you are 19 yet you post this
I'm a parent of a Central Sound member. They are on block scheduling so they practice 2 hours every other day in class and from 5:45 to 9 on tuesdays and thursdays. Once season starts they have some monday and wednesdays in there also!!!

Just want to make sure your stories line
If someone makes a prediction it is just that, a prediction, so all LC needs to do is go out and perform. And also just because you take 1st RU you need to look at what the competition was.

I'm Thinking:

GC: Fairfield BV BC
1RU: HN
2RU: Zionsville
3RU: LC
4RU: NO CLUE!!!!

that last spot will be a fight!!! It will really depend on who the judges are.

I definitely wouldn't count out Lawrence Central either... they tend to place pretty evenly with Huntington North, who tends to place pretty evenly with Fairfield. But of course this is a new year, so who knows what will happen

AGREED!!

After tonights/todays competitions I feel that Central sound will place higher than 3'd FF and HN are very good and this will be a VERY close and GOOD competition!!! after canceling rehearsals due to weather and pulling off close comps this week and with another 6 days to work on their show CS will DEF improve by leas and bounds. i KNOW HN will bring it they sing so well (usually) and the battle btwn HN and CS will continue. always a back and forth.

*has there been a year when the two groups met more than twice? i cannot recall....however i do remeber times when HN would beat CS at one comp and then CS would be them leaving a tie.

there are places that don't do that? man I've even seen courtesy rules where the first SIX rows are reserved.

yeah, i was just at northrop's comp and they dont do it that rule and was really upset!

I really hope that at Center Grove they enforce the courtesy rule in which the fans if the performing school gets the first two rows of seats. It upsets me so much when I want to go watch our mixed group and i have to sit really far away. Some schools even put signs up that say the first two rows are reserved and this is such a nice rule for any school that's performing.

should be a fun competition! from what i have seen so far this year most of these groups have lots of potential, or have already been successful! whats the cost to get in all day?

I would agree mostly, except...

4RU: Churubusco New Era

It was close between us and Norwell this last weekend at Northrop. If we improve at the rate we have been, I'm confident we'll make a showing in the finals.

Good job at Northrup last week, or two days ago, as that's a closer estimate, good luck at Centergrove! If possible i want to see your show live, but with how the schedule is i don't think i'll be able to

My opinion on the competition this year, is that i don't think anyone will be able to call until it happens, there's a lot of good groups going this year, right now it's way too early to call anything, it'll be a surprise to the end i believe.

2RU: Lawrence Central Central Sound (BB)

Totally random....

Women's- I think Norwell will win.
Mixed- I agree for the most part, but I think the choraliers will also grab vocals.
