Information for AcaPella/Dutch Divas/PellAdrenaline

AcaPella's Director is Michelle Chaplin. Choreography by Lovar Davis (LD) Kidd, Anne Chapman and Kyrsten Klein. AcaPella was the Take 2 Invitational Grand Champion for 2010, Class 3A champion and Best Choreography caption winner.

Dutch Divas director is Michelle Chaplin. Choreography by Kyrsten Klein. Dutch Divas was the DCG Take 2 prep champion, and finished as 3rd runner up in the night show.

PellAdrenaline is the Pella MS show choir, under the direction of Joe Tangen with choreography by Kyrsten Klein. PellAdrenaline finished in 2nd place in the MS division at DCG.

Results that I can remember from Saturday at Take 2 Invitational:
3A
1st AcaPella
2nd Norwalk
(i'll have to check on placings 3-6 and get back on this)

1A/2A
1st Des Moines Christian
2nd Hudson
3rd West Branch Christopher Jive and the Uptown 45
4th Emmetsburg
(again, have to check the other places for 5-6)

MS
1st Des Moines Christian
2nd Pella
3rd Norwalk
4th Ballard

Great job by everyone on Saturday. Special props to Norwalk....awesome dynamics and vocals. You guys were dynamite! Very competive finals. Thanks to DCG for hosting a high quality event!

I believe Atlantic's director (for all three groups) is still Luke Johnson.

I don't have a program but Pella AcaPella ended up Grand Champion, and Norwalk Sound Revolution ended up 1st runner-up.

And I can tell you that Norwalk's Sound Revolution is directed by Gerard Krupke; Choreographed by Molly McConelly (sp?) and Ann Chapman.

No, if I remember correctly from last year, MS competes with MS, 1A/2A competes with itself, and then 3A against 3A

No- I think middle schools compete aginst each other for a championship in their class- then it is open class for 1A/2A and 3A - so there is an overall champion for the high school groups

Middle school groups will actually be competing in finals against the high school groups?
