I can't even predict how this one is going to turn out... there are 8 solid groups that have a chance at making finals, and trying to rank them would be ridiculous.
Mayville's show is great (even though I'm not a fan).
Prospect had a very strong showing at Fort.
Davenport West and Fort Atkinson are back to their usual standards of excellence.
Monona Grove surprised absolutely everyone this year.
GCS is, well, GCS, even under new leadership.
Palatine is working its way up the Illinois ladder.
Logan looks to be doing solidly (although they are a bit of a dark horse here since they haven't competed since Viterbo.)
In short, I'm jealous of everyone who gets to go!

SO excited to see this show, and I agree with the others, looks like a great line-up. A number of well-known programs here that I haven't had a chance to see in a few years! And glad to see they throw some fun 'extra' captions in there, makes the day a bit more entertaining.
Oh wow...I just did some research on all the choirs coming, and this competition is significantly harder than the years past. Everyone thinks that Brodhead is an easy competition, and looking at this line up, it definitely isn't. I don't know if I can make a very good prediction because the competition records are all over the board. Still, looking forward to seeing my friends from Fort Atkinson again!
This is a really strong, deep competition this year, especially compared to past years. I'm not even going to attempt a prediction other than to say that I could see Monona Grove finishing as high as 3rd (or second runner up) or not even making the finals. Mayville, Mt. Prospect, La Crosse Central, La Crosse Logan, Palatine, Davenport West, Fort Atkinson, and Monona Grove are all legitimate finals possibilities.
