I wasn't being serious about Carmel being Tricky or "Duuuurty" folks... I just really wanted this to be FC's year.

Though, i have a feeling it still will be.

I keep my predictions the same.

FC has so much heart this year, and i have heard their performance in Orlando was a HUGE improvement over their performance at BD... The time they had to work payed off.

FC You can do it!!! WOO!

No but for real, Carmel might win...

That's why there are 10 large mixed groups instead of the 9 planned for.

The issue was an erased and changed score on the judges sheet without the judges initials by it. Its a procedural thing, but it had an impact on final scores for Northrup and other groups there. That's all I know. I don't know how much the scores were effected, but any error there is huge.

What was the scoring problem for Northrup at Huntington North? Please elaborate....

Thanks

I know that they didn't make it into the finals - maybe their scores were added incorrectly and they were supposed to?

I'm afraid I'm not really sure what the controversy was, though.

Someone please do tell, because I'm interested now.

Congrats to all the state finalist this season. I'm glad they allowed Northrup in with the scoring snafu at HN. Adding them was the right thing to do and they deserve the spot.

So, i just found out a little bit of trickery has occurred in the show choir world...

CARMEL AMBASSADORS WILL BE ATTENDING ISSMA STATE!

Do you know why they decided to go after all? I think it is fair to defend their title. It is just that I'm sure some groups have been looking forward to having a shot without carmel in the way. But then again, I guess whoever wins only deserves the title if they do beat the other top indiana show choirs including amongst themselves. Basically, I just wish carmel arrived at this decision earlier in the year instead of last minute.

New Predictions:

GC: Carmel (vocal, choreo, band)
1RU: FC (I have been watching them all season and was looking forward for them to possible win)
2RU: LC (very good season this year with wins over top show choirs like CG)
3RU: Huntington North (great improvement, great show. personally a fan of this group)
4RU:NC (I haven't seen their revised show, but I am sure they have stepped it up a great deal)
5RU: Pike (Their show is great. great vocals, great movement)
6RU: WC (their vocals are great. their male soloist is unbelievably outstanding)
7RU: Ben Davis (strong show)
