how about best female:

My bets on the girl from ATSC. she was amazing at southwest

The girl from ATSC with the ballad solo is Kelly Woodworth.

So this is happening tomorrow! I can't believe the seniors in Choralation are going to perform for the last time

Another best of luck to everyone competing!

Yeah, I dunno. I think the kid from Dowling has got a reeeally nice shot at best male soloist. Is anyone aware if there are best performer awards at this competition?

I haven't seen anything suggesting that there would be such award, I would assume no.

I do like him for Best Male Soloist. His performance during daytime at LSW was quite good, even if during finals his voice seemed a little tired.

Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but I believe soloist awards go out at the end of daytime at Lewis Central, and the rest of the captions go for finals. I know it was like that two years ago, but I don't remember if it changed last year for any reason.

I totally forgot about him. I'd put my money on him. All I know is that Shelby Sievers (I think that's her last name) is the solo judge. She was an assistant director at Lewis Central for a few years.

Leave early!!

I'd love to, but I'm in charge of loading stuff on the buses. So... that would probably be a problem.

BB: LSW (only because a 22 piece band should beat an 11 piece band)

18, actually.

And we'll be down- there's speech, so we've got people missing from Res. Band is legit up for grabs!

GC: ATSC
1RU: LSW
2RU: WDM Valley
3RU: WDM Dowling
4RU: GISH
5RU: Papillion-La Vista South

BB: LSW
BC: ATSC
BV: ATSC

I would be shocked if ATSC did not win Best Vocals. Just about everything else can possibly go just about any way.

Well, if we preform like we did last weekend at SEP, i think it may go like this....

GC- ATSC
1RU- LSW
2RU- Valley
3RU- Dowling Catholic
4RU- GISH
5RU- Papillon South

BC- ATSC
BV- IDK, apparently a 5th place school got BV, so apparently anybody can get it. So i like us for it. but i'm not sure
BB- ATSC
Best female Solo- IDK
Best Male Soloist- Quinn Tipping, Dowling Catholic
if there was a best instrumental solo, our saxaphonist Adam Tell would clinch it. but then again, i'm biased....

My Predictions:
GC: ATSC
1RU: Valley
2RU: LSW
3RU: GISH
4RU: Papio-South
5RU: Simply Irresistible

BV: ATSC
BC: ATSC
BB: LSW (only because a 22 piece band should beat an 11 piece band)
Best Female Solo: Kelly Woodworth, ATSC
Best Male Solo: I have no clue
