GC: Buffalo Grove
2nd: Wheaton Warrenville
3rd: Milton
4th: Mundelein
5th: Palatine
6th: Laff Jeff
The sound system was very disappointing, many portions of the ballads were barely audible. Also disappointed that Buffalo Grove's former director was a judge. And she and another judge were listed on the program as the current arrangers for Buffalo Grove.

wow.
does anyone have the scores for both Single-Gender and finals?
According to a friend of mine who is in Milton, they had a major penalty for bringing food into their homeroom, which pushed them into 6th. I wouldn't say I'm a hundred percent on that, but that is what she told me.
Obviously, disappointed in the results, but BG did have a pretty solid show. And no way did Milton deserve to be 6th--top three for sure.
What bothers me besides the potential conflict of interest re: choreography/judging is trying to gauge what judges want at any given show, especially here. Happiness in theme & safety in execution seemed to be what won. Thinking outside the box to provide an entertaining, difficult but different show was apparent cause for penalty.
