I am suprised that Edgewood placed so high. They usually have a solid show but they beat GH and T-burg. Big suprise. Not saying Edgewood is bad or they don't deserve it (They might have rocked it out today) but I am so suprised.

I'm not hear to bad mouth. Lebanon was my last competition I'll ever get to perform in. Edgewood has been a good group with a solid show for the past 4 years. Why do people get so surprised still when we make finals and do well?

I just want to say that everyone who attended did an amazing job including Twinsburg (You guys are so clean!) I thought that each group brought their own style and their own talent to the plate Amazing job to everyone!

Oh, and we're mailing their trophy to them.
and we really don't care if they don't return.

twinsburg had a HUGE pause inbetween their 1st and 2nd song.
apparently their ipod stopped working / therefore they had no band.
our rules state you can't use a recording- all music has to be played by high school musicians.
but instead of being disqualified, we deducted them
THATS why they placed so low.

and I could answer EVERYONES questions about everything, but so tired, so I'll answer a few.

-Edgewood BROUGHT it.
-Our choreo judge was NOT playing around.
-I love Fairfield.

in finals, we (garfield) and twinsburg tied. We had the better vocal score so that was the tie breaker. there was no penalty involved guys. and we have no idea who ghs2009 is. plz dont let him represent us. ty! and great shows!

P.S. Apparently Twinsburg didn't get screwed because it was a penalty but I am kind of curious what it was.

Well then you can't get screwed in sports either.

teams have more control over the outcome in sports...in show choir you really don't.

I'm not talking about this anymore.

Good job Hurricane, I'm looking forward to seeing you at states

no, there isn't. Either be willing to accept what you are told going in no matter what...or don't go.

Oh yes there is. It might not be totally fair but you can get screwed.

there is no such thing as being screwed in show choir, it's a judged event...by design it isn't totally fair. You need to either accept that going in or not compete.

Yet they still beat Fairfield's girls and made finals?

I'm sorry, I shouldn't have used the term disqualified. But I heard that they received a VERY large penalty.

How did Hamilton do? After Fairfield I thought they might place pretty high here.
