That's one HUGE statement, but I totally agree with you. Twinsburg always seems to draw in some of the biggest competitors from Ohio (and beyond!!). I reallycant wait for this comp.!!!

If Ohio had State Competitions this is where they'd be.

Fairfield "Crystal Classic

Piqua High School (OH) "The Company"
Teays Valley High School (OH) "Prominent Rendition"
Olentangy High School (OH) "Keynotes"
Marysville High School (OH) "Swingers Unlimited"

Teays Valley Classic

Marysville High School (OH) "Swingers Unlimited"
Olentangy High School (OH) "Keynotes"
Findlay High School (OH) "First Edition"

Marysville "Showcase"

Garfield Heights High School (OH) "Music Express"
Teays Valley High School (OH) "Prominent Rendition"

I think with Fairfield, Twinsburg, and Teays Valley those 3 are just as good of competitions as WVMEA or ISSMA.

This competiton is so up in the air. Reason:: Hurricane beat Piqua, Piqua beat Teays Valley, and Teays Valley beat Hurricane. Not to mention Garfield Heights was beating TV and Piqua both at Marysville after Prelims and they finished not far behind both TV and Hurricane at Poca. Also if I recall at GH it was very close between TV and Medina. Who knows how this one will shape up? This is a VERY evenly matched competition. I am excited to see the outcome. Ohio doesn't need a state competition when you have Twinsburg.

I like these predictions. Very likely outcome. Depends who shows up that day. I have to say Solon, Capital, and Norwell can't be too far from those top 6.

Thank you so much for that. I really hope that we do make top six. We have worked alot this year, and we have fixed a bunch of stuff since poca so I hope that you can see us. My whole choir loveed you all and we are going to try to have half the energy and sharpness that you all have. Im so glad that you won. I don't know how people will like is at twinsburg since our show is broadway. But I really hope that we can at least make top six. That would be great! Cannot wait to see you all and your amazing show!

GC: Marysville/Medina
1RU: Marysville/Medina
2RU: Piqua
3RU: Teays Valley
4RU: Hurricane
5RU: Garfield Hts.

Best Vocals: Marysville/Medina
Best Choreo: Marysville/Piqua

Seriously this could go ANY WAY!! Many of these choirs have competed against each other, and many results have been obtained. Piqua beat Teays earlier this year, but lost to Hurricane. Teays lost to Marysville, Piqua, and Medina but Beat Hurricane. show choir just depends on the day Hurricane could move all the way up to first or second as could Teays, or Marysville and Medina could end up much farther down. I think this will end up being one of the best Ohio competitions of the year, rivaling that of the Crystal Classic!!!! Good Luck to all of the competing choirs, I only wish I could make it up for this competition

that seems to be a very accurate comparison. if one trades Medina and Garfield Heights for Findlay and Olentangy, one has a fairly good prediction of choirs participating in finals at each competition.

i'm very excited to learn the results of both Twinsburg's and Fairfield's contests.

Im not even going to put up my predictions because its like too intense to even try to do it. BUT, i will say that I think that the finals could include all of class B.

I think I can see Teays, Marysville, Hurricane, Medina, or Piqua as all capable of taking this competition. It's really gonna come down to who brings it all that day.

Well I am going for teays valley. They so deserve it and there show is amazing and they can sing and there energy is just up in your face and no one else that I have seen this year has been like them. GO TEAYS VALLEY!

It wouldn't suprise me if Teays Valley took it all. They are awesome! There show is so clever, and renegade I don't have enough words to describe it. I am so glad that they won the Poca Music Fest. Im glad that someone different won it this year, and they totally deserve it.

Finalist Predictions
GC. Teays Valley
1st Marysville
2nd Hurricane
3rd Piqua
4th Medina/Manchester
5th Garfield/Capital

This is just my opinion based on this year!

thanks guys...cant wait for this comp this is going to be one of the toughest ones of our season but i think we can work on problems from Poca and come back strong at this one.

i feel it would be prudent at this time to make my pre-Teays Valley "Classic" predictions. these thoughts will probably change later, but with a schedule available i'll take a shot.

GC- Medina/Marysville
1RU- Marysville/Medina
2RU- Piqua
3RU- Teays Valley
4RU- Hurricane
5RU- Garfield Heights

Vocals- Hurricane or Marysville
Choreo- Marysville or Teays Valley
Band- Marysville

Norwell and Euclid also have a chance at slipping into finals, but i think their time slot will hurt Euclid in particular.

Norwell made it to finals last year at Fairfield... (perhaps one of the most intense preliminary awards in Ohio)...

plus Harding normally does well at Twinsburg
