yes Heather is awsome, she first coreographed this show when she was 19, back when mayville did this show in 1999, also a bit of info newsies (in 1999) was the first show to ever win GC for mayville and basicly the turning point for mayville, however this isnt the same show as it was in 1999 we modernized it and made it up to the leavel for this day in age, and yes she did graduate from mayville in 98. also she lives in colorado and we fly her out. she also coriographs our musicals this year we are doing Aida

Correct me if I'm wrong guys, but I believe Heather was a former Mayville student from many years ago since I'm sure the name isn't familiar to anyone.

Yup that is correct. She's a mayville alum, former Kid from Wisconsin, and now she's a professional choreographer.

Do Miles Manthey and Tim Brown still choreograph Mayville?

Nope... the program says Heather Robillard.

Congrats to Mayville for being GCs! I really wished that our group could have stayed to watch finals. I didn't get to see any of you. Our group was pretty bummed that we didn't make it to finals, but this competition was awesome once again! We had a lot of fun! =) OH! And if anyone saw our show, any thoughts/criticism? We'd really appreciate getting some feedback. =)

Once again, congrats to Mayville!

I'm talking about what MY individual scores reflected. Did I have Reedsburg on top in choreography?

Yes, everyone did a great job in finals. I think every show improved from the day round. I think the whole group back by us enjoyed sitting and watching every group (although I don't think I can do every group again. that was a long day).

Madison East - Wow, you guys are much improved from when i saw you last, which was last year. great job on the show. the spanish number was great. i don't know what the judges thought, but i thought it was a neat effect. the only complaint i had was that i could feel your tiredness at the end of the show by way of your vocal production. it was def. breathy at the end. but overall a totally solid job.

Onalaska - much improved from the fall festival (last time i saw you). it was better at night once everyone was there. i'm with AP on this one - when you see that many kids, you expect more. there was one number in particular that seemed to be mp the entire time. increase your vocal production and the finishes will be higher.

New London - you guys were a treat. i didn't really expect that out of you. but you were the first group in the day round that made me go, "Yeah, the should be in finals". The show was clean, the vocals were clean. The props were cool once i understood them (I thought they were wedges of cheese at first). nice job

Logan - yeah, I'm with AP. I had you higher then 3rd. but, you guys had an amazing night show. you keep performing at the level and above, and there is no telling where you will go. boogie is still my favorite song in the whole world, and i think i've now learned the words to all your songs so i can start singing along.

Reedsburg - you win the biggest suprise of the year award. what a delightful show. i'm with adam, the first time i didn't get it, but when i got to see it again, the whole show made much more sense. the dancing sections were quite intense and very enjoyable. keep going and achieving!

Mayville - wow. that's it. wow. i have no idea what to say. every arm was exactly where it should be the WHOLE show! Your choreo was so clean it was borderline ridiculous. Kudos to you and your director for making a musical theatre show choir WORK. It was fun begining to end, the vocals were great, the dancing was great. You guys have the whole package. Keep it up and you'll go far.

Thanks again to Sauk for hosting. It was a lot of fun. i have to plug the La Crosse Central Connection band winning best class A combo. way to go!

La Crosse Logan- I had you guys taking this, but looks like the judges thought differently. The vocals weren't as full as I would have liked them at the beginning… but once we got to the ballad, you guys soared over other groups. You could tell that there was some serious singing being done. The ballad soloist was also very good. The closer was REALLY cool (minus the guy's jackets). There are some really wonderful young performers right up front (short boy with blonde hair)

That would be Addison. He's hilarious
