Haha, that must be it ;) People just hear the name Ankeny, and it sounds like Akeny...lol.
Anyway, this competition will be another one to go down in history as a competition with a TON of talent coming. I LOVE Ankeny's vocals...they usually make me melt into my seat And I always enjoy Urbandale (both groups of course). I always root for you at Spectacular b/c I love you guys so much
I'm liking the line-up of judges too! Nancy Allen is an amazing judge; critical, but at the same time helpful and very supportive. She has helped us a lot this year. So thanks Nancy!

so, im not gonna lie. seeing urbandale studio isprobably my favorite time of the year. I remember sophomore year i had never heard of them and now they are probably one of my favorite group. can't wait to see you guys, i know you'll probably knock me out again.
I am really exited for his comp its gonna be great, especially with the line up thats going, I am really excited to see Ankeny perform, and overall excited to get to another comp

oh man urbandale is going to be amazing!! and so is their prep group!! They did amazing last year at our comp. and I bet they are going to be even better!!
can this comp come sooner? I really want to go to urbandale and see... well ummm urbandale lol. Gosh this is going to be so much fun and to see urbandale perform will be a treat and wow so many good groups!!!!

This looks like a fantastic competition with fantastic judges... it's a shame I'm missing it, but maybe West will make the trip next year. We were supposed to attend in 2002, I believe... but snow cancelled us out.

Wow, that sure is a GREAT judging panel. Damon Brown and Anne Chapman are 2 of my favorite critique judges (I've never had the other two) and Pete and Bill Griffel are also 2 judges I have come to really like.
