Just to make it 100% clear, this competition is NOT accepting anymore groups? With "Big Dance" cancelling, some groups are now forced into looking for a new competition this same weekend.

So I just got the schedule for our opera that is showing that weekend. It looks like there is no show on Saturday!!!!! I think I'll be able to make the trip back for this competition!!!!! YAY!!!
YES! I can't wait for this...Wahlert Impulse (varsity) is going, and so is our prep...but I'm pretty sure they've found a name now...I believe it's Wahlert Impact JV Show Choir.

Batonking, you might want to recheck Johnston's entry forms- their 8th-grade show choir is "Impact". "Sound Advice" is the 9th-grade middle school group; they would be in Washington "Vivace"'s class.
Looks like an awesome lineup- I hope I can come out and watch!

I don't think the jackets really are from the sixties. I do know that they had them in 1991. I have seen pictures. Maybe someone like Lynne Rothrock still has theirs.

Happiness, Inc. has worn the "banana coats" since I believe the sixties. It's a tradition.

Sioux City East might be attending this one were still deciding between another competition this weekend but the line up for Kennedy is looking amazing I think we"ll have no choice ;)
