Buffalo Grove's show was very unoriginal, too classy for me.  As for Ft. Atkinson, the girls on top of the drums looked scared sh*tless during the whole drum song.

Also, is it just me, or does a lot of show choirs costumes clash this year?  I mean on GCS's closer, half of the girls had on purple dresses and half had on pink, as for the guys, they wore these army greenish shirts with a tie.

That's a trend that was started by Attache' a couple of years ago. It looked really cool when they did it the guys wore all white and shirts which matched either of the colors the girls wore.

Once again, allow me to just step away from all of the drama...

Ha, okay, so lots of talk about Onalaska, lots of really really positive and interesting talking- but I'm wondering if we could get this going, just so we can have a more broad view of the competition- talk about some groups who didn't make finals, and get some details about groups that did as well...

I was gonna ask about that person who said they were from Mt. Zion...I read that earlier in the day and was wondering why someone would pretend to be in an elite group just to try to give them a bad name or rep... it's stupid!

WE in no ways want to have any conflicts between other groups...

greg jasperse arranged our ballad for a group who performed it at the university here in decatur, millikin university. so if you think he arranged it just for us, it is not true.

and i'm not directing this toward you specifically, but I have seen alot of anger and disappointent on these last 8 pages of this topic, SO, I officially deny anyone the privelage to use the words, "it should have been..." on any other post under this topic. Yes, Onalaska was very different from what everyone anticipated, but nothing about the results are going to change. LIVE WITH IT!

peace be with u on this merry day, .

Well stated HHSRenegade. I like the quote. C'mon people, let's just get off EVERYONE'S case. Whether or not you think what either of them did was tactful, it is what they did. It is the decision they made, and we must respect them. If I wanted to read a people-bashing board, I would find one of those. I wanna read about show choir. Let's talk about that. I loved all the competition at Onalaska this year. Just wanted to tell Milton that I saw you guys and thought you did really well. I don't know what the judges had to say about your show, but I enjoyed your performance. It seemed more relaxed and natural than most of the other groups. Not to belittle what the finals participants did. EVERYONE had a great show. Just wanted to reiterate that I love you all! " border="0" alt="flowers.gif" /> Also, MTZ is a very nice choir and I am going to have to agree with Sebastian on them making or not making those comments if they could post.

I was just gonna say that.
You know, when a choir is known to be banned from posting, pretending to be in their choir doesn't really work. besides, im pretty sure zion wouldnt make those comments even if they could post.

i hate to say it, but one cannot argue for their own groups placing because they are biased, its just the way it goes

He graduated in 2001, so he's not being biased...

not to start a hastings/eee conflict. but i have to agree with nate about eee's placement. i hear one of the judges wrote their ballad? well, regardless, i speak for myself when i say totino passed up eee in every aspect of the show. plus, the vocals should have been between totino and lacrosse. and about biasy - it doesnt matter how long its been since you went to the school, you'll always be biased... of course, thats not always a bad thing, just thought i'd comment. again, just my opinion, take it or leave it. but you know, i am right.
