I am picking
1 Hunington North- saw them. Great!
2 Fairfield saw them. Also very good!
3 Burbank- though I have no idea what they look like, but everyone expects them to be pretty competitive
4 Onalaska- haven't seen them but they always look like strong competitors on this website
5 Dekalb- saw them. A little rough this year but improving. I am sure good by now
6 Carroll- Saw them at Northrop. They were great!

I agee with the person who said Northrop, Homestead, Norwell, and Crete will aslo make it interesting. This day show is like a gigantic finals competition. Rest of the choirs I don't know as well. Good luck everyone!

What is the admission price for all day Saturday?

I am sure many other people are interested in knowing that important information as well. The choirs' website (fcsingers.org) does not give a price. Based on years of purchasing all day passes, I would venture to say that admission tomorrow will cost $12-15.

Thank you!

Here's my predictions:

GC: Huntington North
1st RU: Onalaska
2nd RU: Fairfield
3rd RU: Homestead
4th RU: Dekalb/Northrop
5th RU: Northrop/Dekalb

H-North and Onalaska are both amazing choirs...We've competed against Onalaska this year and they beat us.

Haven't seen Fairfield but hear they can put up a good fight!

Homestead, I have a feeling is going to produce some upsets...probably our best group in the past few years.

Dekalb and Northrop have competed against each other and I'd say they are pretty much equal with each other....If I had to choose I would say Northrop over DeKalb...but either way I'll be happy! haha
Good luck to everyone competing!

I'm going to say...
GC: Huntington North
1RU: Burbank
2RU: fairfield
3RU: Onalaska
4RU: Homestead
5RU: Dekalb

Dunno captions... top 3 could go anyway, bottom 3 could go anyway

Sooo we don't have school today because of "Freezing fog" which means we have one less day to practice before this weekend... and that's kind of a bummer.

I know everyone is gonna be bringing their A+++ game this weekend, I can't wait to see some amazing groups.

Same here! And we missed 2 practices last week because of snow, its fun not having school and all but id rather go and practice! Im really excited to see your show by the way, it was one of my favorites last year " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

Here's my stab finals placements:

GC-Burbank/HN
1RU-Burbank/HN
2RU-Fairfield
3RU-Dekalb
4ru-Onalaska
5RU-Homestead

Best Vocals-HN: This is mostly based on their vocal history, I wasn't impressed with their sound at Center Grove Best of The Midwest last week but they have the ability to sing VERY WELL! I would say Fairfield, based on last year, has a good shot too!

Best Choreography- BurbankI think Mr. Carroll does some great things choreographically and he's always using other choreographers to enhance! I think using multiple choreographers makes the show have that much more variety and it doesn't all look like the same thing! Also, Dekalb is always very sound visually so look for them to be somewhere in there!

Kevin, you're going to make midwest people think we're weirdddd.
if by we you mean you and me, then they must be correct
but if you mean west coasters, then eccentric might be more p.c.

You Cali people are lucky. Just last week it was in the teens (and we had like 16 inches of snow). The rest of this week it's supposed to be the mid to upper 40s.

On an unrelated note...Does anybody know the spectator price for finals?

eek i wish it could be like last year at FAME NY where we had burroughs and chula vista with us.

im soooo excited for this weekenddd!!!

we're only gonna be at school two days this week and we have to meet at school at 3:45 am on thursday for a 7:something pm ETA in indiana.

and it is confirmed: we will get to visit the water park, but only friday night.
i went on a snowboarding trip this weekend and i did my best to prepare for the indiana weather. vitamin c is working wonders.
this was a scattered post.
ill end with something like:
"i cant believe its sooo close! hopefully ill get to meet some of you in person "
