They seem really nice. Too bad they don't go to M-burg's comp anymore. On a happy note...most likely they will place higher at the state competition considering M-burg isn't going this year.

Well back when ETC had a comp. I think it was held in a fairly large gym. I thought the facilities could have been better but hey you know its not hard to tell who is the best even without the finest sound equipment. Also, many choirs with big names went to that comp. if I can remember correctly.

Beavercreek's competition is that weekend (I think...) We were supposed to go to that, but that is the week after a 3 week Christmas break and also the weekend after we move into our new school.  Our director opted to not attend a competion that week.  But we are going to Findlay the next week... ( ohmy.gif )  We will all be soooo frazzled after a week in the new school. Oh well!

So your school is gonna be brand new? Saweet! Have u seen the auditorium and stuff yet?

Ohio will not fund an auditorium but the music room is awesome!! We get a baby grand piano, new risers, a private loading door, and tons more!! What I don't understand is why the gym has to be like the size of 4 g normal gyms but we can't have an auditorium. Oh well. Now there is a possibility for a competition in the future. We will have excellent facilities for one... Maybe just maybe...

Yall dont have an auditorium, do u practice in the gym or something? That would suck.

I was looking at Mentors Auditorium and High School when we were setting our competition schedule. It looks freakin amazing. The facilities look awesome. I would just think that the bigger groups would go to a nice place like that... though we were gonna go to marysville that weekend if we were to compete in January, ehich my group is not allowed too...

Well ... I dunno, Mentor is a fairly new competition, and ... the groups that are going are fairly new ... like us (Euclid's "Varsity Chorale"), for instance, we had our debut year last year, but we still did really well (for our first time competing), placing 1st Runner up to Findlay at Brush, and placing high in finals last year to Mt. Zion and Farfield, at Findlay FEst, and then we also made finals at a few more competitions, and won some caption and class awards. -- But as I said before it was our debut year, so I wouldn't expect that many people (especially people from different states) to know of us, or let alone consider us a 'powerhouse' or anything .. but still, Mentor's a great competition.
