My name is Taylor Stoddard and I am the choir director at Fort Madison High School. Thanks to all of the groups who attended our competition last weekend.
We wanted to clarify how our 2021 Invitational was run. It was a rating system where groups were evaluated by class; with each class having different criteria for a Division I,II, and III based on the number of points they received. Please know if you have seen any information that was not dispensed by our contest administrator or myself, it is not factual. Wishing you all the best.
I'm not exactly sure. Apparently the initial account they were using to host their live stream was taken down by YouTube, but the good news is it looks like they have a back-up plan already in place. We've gone ahead and added the updated link for tonight's performances. Tomorrow it looks like they have a separate link for each choir's performance (so we'll just add the overall channel link above), but the full list can be viewed here: Saturday Streams
This event page is updated. There will be a live stream and it'll be posted once it gets closer. This year this event is operating by awarding ratings (instead of placements) and will award various captions to the groups as well.
Directors,
I would like to take this moment to invite you to the 32nd Annual Stars in the Spotlight Show Choir Invitational at Fort Madison High School. This year our contest will be held on March 6th, 2021. As many of you know March is filled with lots of activities.
