wow..... definatly an interesting competition today at marysville, even though it was a very fun one to watch. First off i'd like to say good job to all the choirs (and my ETC people :0) ) everyone was great. With that said, the judging was pretty terrible at this competition lol. I loved Edgewood's show, i didn't expect them to be good at all but i ended up loving the show. It was cute, and i definatly became an Edgewood fan...but they were no where close to the level of the other finalist groups. It was an entertaining show and i liked it and they deserved to be in finals.. but they should not have beaten any of the finalist groups. If u take out Edgewood i think the judges got the end result right... but yea lol. I'm not taking anything away from Edgewood though, they did a great job and it is great for them that they got the 2nd place... it just should not have happened. Overall it was a very fun competition though, especially all the little dance offs lol. As for all the finalist groups

Teays: Amazing as always, you guys seemed a little off in prelims.. but in finals you guys were awesome. Definatly was a very strong show and a well deserved GC

Piqua: I was very surprised with your volume, you were the loudest choir vocally, it definatly impressed me. I loved play that funky music white boy and the brown suits (i definatly want one lol). I thought u guys should have gotten 3rd

Bishop Luers: Wasn't a big fan of your show... but u did perform it well. I did like your ballad a lot, and u had good vocals, i thought u should have gotten 4th

Solon: Definatly down from last year, but i still enjoyed the show. You guys are still one of my all time fav groups

Edgewood: Cute show, made me laugh all the way through. I was pleasently surprised with you guys.

ETC: Well it's my old group lol but i thought they were really awesome. In prelims they seemed a little off too, but in finals they definatly stepped it up and thought they performed their hearts out. It definatly was one of the stronger ETC performances i thought in awhile. i thought u guys would pull 2nd. I'm proud of you guys though :0)

Thanks marysville for a fun comp (from an audience member's point of view) it definalty was an entertaining competition with some great groups! Good job everyone!!
