I'd love to see the final scores, I'm guessing it wasn't close for #1. Usually when a team sweeps vocals, choreography and band its a pretty decisive win. But #2-6 had to be super close, since everybody moved from their preliminary placement. Seeing Hastings go from #5 in prelims to #2 in finals is a big jump. Congratulations to them!

They also added two judges in finals and started fresh with scores in finals!

I just want to put this out there, because my students are constantly surprised by this, but every competition I’ve ever been to starts fresh in finals.

Yes, that! I think out of all of the competitions I was at there were maybe two that took a percentage of daytime scores and added them to finals. I remember for sure Grand River Invitational, back when it was at the La Crosse Center, did that.
