Brea's competition that they hosted was for middle schools, had only three entrants, was held at Brea Olinda HS and was over by 1:00. Brea's middle school performed, but didn't compete. They also hosted the event.
Diamond Bar started at 6:30 and was at Diamond Bar HS about 5 miles away. The times and distances apart were not an issue.
Since the auditoriums are on the small side, there wouldn't have been any room for Brea's HS groups to sit at the middle school competition and support the middle school group. It's a moot point.
The only other group I know that was going to this was Mark Keppel. I'm assuming all of the choirs competed in one division. I'll see if I can find anything...but I'm not sure how much luck I'll have.
Omggg I just realized that other one is for middle school. But still, I've never heard of a school hosting a competition for some of their groups but traveling with other groups. Wouldn't they want the older kids to cheer on the younger kids, and vice versa?
