im not a big fan of bemidji. they are really good but their shows tend to bore me. prairie has a TON of vocal talent this year... it should be a good year for them. i did forget about bemidji. i have a feeling they will make finals. this is gonna be a really good competition! i wish i could go see it!
I am not raiderman but is anyone else as excited as I am? I just keep thinking bout Linn-Mar. Everyday I just get even more excited. I cant wait! 17 days

Agreed. Many people probably haven't ever seen Bemidji before. They are an amazing choir. They have very unique shows, and they are highly competitive.
I saw them at Hastings last year, and they rocked. If they are just as good as early in the season, they will do very well.
I am still in shock about their costume change from last year.

I do not believe that Prarie will beat Bemidji. I don't think Prarie has ever been up to the level of Bemidji. But I did hear that Mike really likes their show this year so who knows? We will just have to wait and see.

yeah... going from finals several years straight, and then tying for 13th or whatever we got last year was a kick in the pants, Id say we are overall more ready though... we didnt re-choreograph a song in early december like last year, I wont even bring up the closing pants for those of you who didnt see them, and we also have a couple of songs that went very well for a mississippi group last year, I hope we do them justice... Also, I still wouldnt exclude Bemidji from any of this finals business, they tread all over us last year at Totino...

i couldnt decide between Sioux City East and CR Jefferson... i decided on Jefferson because they will have a different style than the other groups at Linn-Mar and sometimes judges will see a difference and judge better, and Jefferson is a newcomer to Linn-Mar. Also, Sioux City East did not do so well at Linn-Mar last year, and i am wondering whether they will be prepared this year like they were in 2003 and 2004

Central has the potential to be "crazy good" this year. Talking with some of my good friends from there, they are really struggling with their choreography. (Andy Haines doesn't just hand out easy stuff that anyone can do) Past shows haven't been filled with the most challenging choreography, so they are trying to get everything going in the right direction.
Earlier in the season, they also had a few show choir students quit... but they've moved passed that.
When we get together with Central and North for events such as our "Messiah" concert, you can just feel the love they have for Mr. Reese. He's such a cool guy, and I'm so glad that I get to interact with him. I'm also deeply jealous, but I can't wait till they kick some major butt this year! Go CSI!

I agree with those predicts Jorge, you beat me to the punch, though i have heard some good things about WSD this year so i wouldn't count them out.
