I just want to point out an observation from social media - even though this is a national competition that folks have been working hard toward for many months, it's so very cool to see all of the support and camaraderie within the show choir community. I just think it's awesome to see tweets from different show choir accounts complimenting others performances. Especially in the South schools like Walker, Tift County, and Opelika have sent on positive notes of encouragement for the Southern choirs in attendance.
Keep it up! Everyone there has a lot to be proud of.
GC: Los Alamitos (sweep)
1RU: ATSC
2RU: CR Washington
3RU: Auburn
4RU: Jackson Prep
5RU: CR Kennedy
The great thing about this competition is that there are tons of groups from very diverse areas of show choir (and for several, this is their only out-of-area competition). It is hard to predict how they will stack up against each other.
Also, I'm pulling for the Southern groups--good luck Brandon, Enterprise, Auburn, and Jackson Prep!
I've only seen one prediction with them in it, but I wouldn't be surprised if Jackson Prep made finals. I am also really really interested to see Broken Arrow. Really, I'm just excited to see everyone Just a few days!!!!!
GC: Los Al (BV,BC)
1RU: Auburn
2RU: Omaha Westside
3RU: CR Wash (BB)
4RU: Totino-Grace
5RU: Broken Arrow
This ones obviously tricky and with so many great groups attending. I think Los Al might come in with too much for any other group to handle, but after that things could go any which way. I've heard nothing but phenomenal things about Auburn this year and being their only loss is to Clinton i think they are coming in as the Dark Horse on this one. I don't see ATSC placing anything lower than third they just sing so well and the choreo is very locked in. I'm interested to see how Broken Arrow stacks up against these other groups but they've only given us good things to go off of and I think thats why they'll just barely top CR Kennedy for that last slot. I've got a bunch of friends competing at this one from all over the place so I'll definitely be keeping up with how things go. Good luck to all!
I understand what you're asking, but the short answer is no.
Could we? Sure. But it doesn't really make sense to have a SCN (Day One), SCN (Day Two), and SCN (Day Three) event pages. Especially with Mixed Block One being on SCN (Day One) and all the rest being on SCN (Day Two). It isn't visually appealing and frankly isn't helpful. Condensing the SCN event into one simple page on the date of the final results is the easiest way to do it. It puts the information all in one spot which is most convenient for the users and easiest from a SCC systems perspective. For folks who care or are interested, they can just visit this page, the event website link above, or read the posts to understand that it's a multi-day event.
Could someone please update the calendar to have these events on their correct dates? Thank you.
