^^^ hahaha that made me laugh, JD. Going along with the discussion of southern comps and best band, I do feel like more southern competitions should award Best Band!! To me the band behind the choir is a very essential part of the overall performance!! Wish I could be at this competition!! Can't wait until these choirs are on Youtubezzz .... Oh wait!! This one has a live stream!!! Hmmmmmm :D
Just as a heads up, Clover Hill's band is incredible. They have rarely lost that caption in the past couple years and went undefeated last year in that category against stiff competition. It'll be a treat for Southerners to not only see Clover Hill, but to also hear their band.
I think this is sort of a moot point regardless, Southern competitions don't usually award Best Band.
Wow, you're right. I completely overlooked Clover Hill's band. Tallassee awards best band, but I can't remember if the Diamond Classic does or not.
