I just saw Waukee's show on YouTube. Holy crap! No Iowa choir will beat them this year. That was just phenomenal. Wow. High D's GALORE. I bet no one was even remotely close to them at this competition.
I'd say the rest of the field at Urbandale this weekend should be thankful Waukee decided to go elsewhere. Easily the most impressive YouTube show choir clip I've seen this season - by a long shot, and there have been some pretty good ones out there! (hope the link works)

Don't be surprised if Waukee's scores aren't as high as you'd expect. From performance experience there, deeper sounds like Waukee's don't come off the stage as well

Cedar Rapids Prairie surprised the nation last week, grabbing GC over the likes of Ankeny. Last year, Waukee had an absolutely fantastic showing all around. I give the nod to Prairie because they have competed once this season, but it wouldn't surprise me to see Waukee finish higher than I put them.
