Not sure, but I suggest you contact Peg Weber at Central Crossing. She is the Choral Director there and the Show administrator. I believe she also was the announcer for both awards ceremonies. So sorry to see the mic go out in the gym. She handled it VERY WELL.
We must bw talking about two separate score sheets. Rhythm Express won Class C, which included Riverdale and Milton Union. Milton Union was in finals, just based on that, Rhythm was in the top 5.
I actually watched Fairfield MS in prelims and in finals, in prelims they did amazing but we saw the prelims scores and they DID NOT make finals. However they were added and they did do even better and i havent seen finals scores yet but i find it hard to believe that they can jump four places.... it would be more understanding if they made finals but being that they did not it just seems strange to me....
RE wasn't in six after prelims. They placed 1st in their group, Group C. However Milton-Union who was also in Group C was picked to go on? That was an obviously a mistake since if MU was better then RE then they would have run out of Group C. RE not making finals was clearly a mistake and it was corrected. My understanding was that after prelims, the order was FHS, Teays, FMS RE, FHS Pure Elegance.
Regardless of how it went, all choirs did an amazing job last night. Good luck to the rest of the school year.
Quick question. Have you actually seen Fairfield MS "Rhythm Express" in competition. In my opinion, regardless of my affiliation, they are the BEST middle school show choir in the midwest. They have gone undefeated in the past and they also received only 1 1st RU and 4 GC last year. To be honest, their placement is not surprising to me.

There was orginally 5 finalists and Central Crossing HAD to add a 6th because Centrals program said 6 finalist. So they added Fairfield MS at the last minute. So for them to "come back" and beat four other groups that are in um high school seems kind of suspicious to me. But besides that. Congrats to all the competing choirs, it was a fun night....
I do not have anything as far official scores. but it is my understanding that Fairfield MS was in 3rd after prelims. Thier omission from finals was a judging error.
